  1. Well done Russ and Ant, awesome times! Congrats to both of you. That is seriously moving and very, very impressive. Not bad for 20 year old Nissans!
  2. Thanks Matt Hope I can make the trip to Sydney to have a run with you guys in the not too distant future.
  3. Very nice mate, be interested to see how they work for you.
  4. I used to run HC+ as well, great pads. I'll be going back to them when my current ones run out, and they'll be going into the STi as well.
  5. Not really, I love my stock STi wheel
  6. Hope it serves you well mate! They're fantastically reliable engines when built correctly
  7. Machining was done by Blackwell race engines, and a friend of mine and an ex-supercar engine builder are putting it back together for me. The engine builder It was leaking water into the oil, which was basically due to not having the head and block decked together after it was pulled apart to fix a minor oil leak. Long story short is that the engine was in and out constantly for a year, the warranty work they were doing on it was taking forever and I lost confidence in them so I cut my losses and took it to someone who I knew would have some diligence and take some pride in their work. Those bearings were in the car for a dyno session and half a lap of Sandown...
  8. I have indeed Dave... depressing but true. It won't take much for it to last longer, the thing only managed about 15 laps!
  9. Progress! Block and pressure tested Shot peened and re-sized rods Block decked Honed cam tunnels Clearance ground crank Rotating assembly balanced New bearings, gaskets etc Hotwash Crack tested and linished crank The Dummy fitting began on Saturday: Testing thrust bearing clearances: Old bearings vs new: Cracked crank: Should be back in a few weeks at most
  10. You'll probably be fine, but PM sent.
  11. Agreed Troy, I thought they were far and away the coolest cars when I was at Le Mans. You really need to hear one in person to appreciate their pure awesomeness!
  12. I just had a really poor experience with them. Tip rats.
  13. Agreed, never skimp on the wheel, seat or gearknob. It will always come back to haunt you...
  14. That looks like good fun, quite keen on entering it...
  15. Nice build mate, will be following it keenly.
  16. Ahhh ok, interesting. That is very impressive indeed.
  17. Shame to see it go Stu, and I hope you get what you want for it mate.
  18. That goo is the biggest drainer going round, what a massive pain in the arse that was!
  19. That's excellent power with the restrictor Ash, especially at 4500rpm! Does it need to run a T28 under IPRA? And is that on E85?
  20. As above that is a great vid, and great driving mate! Love seeing the S-Chassis mixing it up with more fancied rivals. What sort of power does it make with the restrictor?
  21. Robbed!! Well done Chris
  22. Completely forgot this was on, dang!
  23. You may want to look into the Nardi Deep Corn wheels, which I used to run as well. Very nice wheel, though a bit thinner than the RPM I'm now using. The 330mm has less dish than the 350 (53mm as opposed to 80mm from memory), so may be a nice option for you. 330: 350:
