  1. Would love to mate, but I'm not well and I don't think PI will help the situation
  2. Are Supp Regs available for this event? Wouldn't mind giving it a go
  3. Oh my, how times have changed... Either way it must be an exciting tiome for you with so many options on the horizon. The thrill of the chase is almost the best part That's very impressive. What kind of fuel?
  4. Mmmmm 1 M - now that would be a cool Targa car Snowy!
  5. I think you'll be fine mate. Not sure on the legalities of receiving sponsorship money without having a valid business set up, so may be worth talking with an accountant.
  6. Agreed. The value of the advertising can always be argued. You may take clients for hot laps, use the car as a static display at events etc so I don't see the issue with it.
  7. Looking good Russ. Love the guard modifications
  8. Absolutely loving it mate, and itching to get out again I was struggling with a lack of front end grip, but after GMR went over the car they seemed to find the problem with a spring issue. Once thats sorted and some front dive planes go on it should be quicker.
  9. Good stuff Ant. The cam covers look great, and the car should be a bit of fun to drive now especially around HH!
  10. Good news for Australian GT. This is my favourite Aussie racing series (other than the Radical cup of course... ), so it will be good to see it up there bigger and better with a good sized field.
  11. He was racing at Le Mans, but I'm surprised they didn;t revoke his licence. Major brain fade going on there...
  12. Thanks Ben. Much improvement needed but I was happy for an initial test. Was great to be at a familiar track which made me feel more comfortable in the car, and gave me the chance to just concentrate on getting to know it. It was very well behaved, and once we can sort some of the understeer in the slow speed stuff it should be even better. The bird made things interesting. I spotted it and backed off momentarily, made the heart skip a beat!
  13. Nice driving Mark, great time too! Had a test day out at Winton in the Radical last week. Third time in the car and feeling more comfortable on a home track but still a long way to go.
  14. Anyone tried the Adidas Feroza Elite boots?
  15. I wear OMP's too. Just Karting boots, but they were relatively cheap and have great feel. I'll be upgrading to some OMP Daytona's or Alpinstars Tech 1-t's in the next week or so though as the current ones are looking a bit worse for wear. Pedal feel, and allowing your feet to move freely between the pedals without becoming caught on anything. I'm a size 12 and wouldn't physically be able to drive the Radical without racing boots on. Once you've driven with them everything else will feel clunky, well worth the outlay in my opinion.
  16. The Astons are alreadys using the GULF livery on their LMP2 car, doubt they'd want Porsche using them in the same race. Love this livery, might have to pick myself up a model of it.
  17. How about something like this? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Alpinestars-F1-Shoe-BLACK-US11-EUR45-5-/330476602302?pt=Apparel_Merchandise&hash=item4cf1f0c3be
  18. I just insured the Radical on Friday with Shannons: 60k agreed value Laid up policy (no registration) - insures it for any situation where the car is not running ie in storage, on the trailer, in the paddock etc $650
  19. RX-7? Legal Stu?? http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~seiyaa/newpage344.htm
  20. I've bought Hankook RS-3's from Tirerack for the STi. Cheap, easy and quick shipping
  21. But a lot easier and cheaper when you need to. A good thing about them is that even I fit into a Series 2 Rx-7. With big power they're a bit of fun too...
  22. Well I found out some interesting information from Radical when I was there yesterday (though I did forget to ask about the element heaters etc). My car is a 2005 model and it's system doesn't take too long to get up to temp, somewhere in the vicinity of 10 mins. However the newer cars take a good 20 minutes to get up to temp and therefore would make a lot of sense to get some heat into the oil first. Even at 10 mins I'd want to be doing something to cut the time down, and with the newer style tank installed it may be even longer. www.engineheaters.co.uk also stock wraps in 220volt which makes life easy.
