  1. Tk: Guessing around the $1600 mark? Scooby: I've managed to track shipping down for $150US mate, so maybe I can organise for a better deal for a few sets? I have also seen a deal which includes the front kit as well as rear rotors, pads and lines along with 3 bottles of RBF600 thrown in for free which is the one to go for. Obviously shipping would go up slightly for these. Make that 3 Troy?? I also know a freight forwarding company who will ship the items by sea, but it'll take a few months to get here. I reckon for $150 it's probably not worth shipping it by sea. I'll do some enquiries mate. Now to find the money to pay for them... Dane
  2. ^^ indeed There'd be a lot of quick S13's and 32's kicking round if they tried their hand at going round and round
  3. It's not really something major, but it's probably the quickest s13 I've seen around Winton. No doubt it would be doable with my old setup with some more track time there, but there's not too many 'quick' s13's kicking around the track days in Vic
  4. The only 2 pad kit I saw was this one: http://www.project-mu.co.jp/e/product/caliper_R4-2.htm Disc is too small, and not for Nissans.
  5. It literally has been years now! Yeah, should be back soon, just waiting on a few bits and pieces to come back (plenum, new seat mounts) then it's just putting it back together and rewiring it. It was supposed to be ready for Superlap, but had a problem with a few parts... I need it sorted out soon though, it's been 2 years next month I'm keen to know what that 180 has too, very quick!
  6. Thanks for the clarification This is the american mob who sell them for a lot less than RHD: http://group5motorsport.com/project-mu/pro...55/i-82510.aspx
  7. Try [email protected] Last time I emailed them I got no response... so good luck!
  8. Don't worry about it, I do it all the time! Troy: yeah, I've thought about the pad issue before, which is what turned me off initially. Firstly due to cost of replacing them, and secondly due to availability. Having said that though, I do love the project mu pads I have in the car now, so it's not too much of a worry for me. Also very happy with their rotors that I have, so again, not a major issue for me. But could be down the track... pardon the pun Buy yeah, the stoptechs will probably give me more options. And there's still the Greddy's in the mix as well... for what it's worth, I've seen the project mu's for $1200 less than what RHD wants for them, not delivered though. Most delivery quotes I've had have been around the $150-200 mark, so let's say 1k less than RHD's price. Pretty enticing... Thanks for the advice Troy. I knew someone had mentioned you'd contemplated them. What is the reasoning for having a radial mount as opposed to lug? Why is it better, apart from being easier to mount (from what I'm aware)?
  9. Wow, a 36.2, not bad! Do you have any details of it mate?
  10. Cool, thanks for that mate, I'll look into it
  11. Would be good to hear what you think of them. OK, another question: Who has used the Project Mu 4 piston forged calipers? I love my project mu pads and rotors, so am keen on trying this kit too and have found it's not too pricey from the states. About the same price as the stoptechs, a few hundred more. This is the kit: http://www.project-mu.co.jp/e/product/caliper_R4-4.html Wouldn't mind this with the 355mm rotors, but 345's would probably be more sensible for 17's
  12. I wouldn't worry about that, I slap them in! But I'm on my 3rd box, so don't listen to me
  13. Not a brake shop, but try RE Customs in Springvale. They can do brakes for you
  14. What are they Troy, Meisters? My meisters didn't clear my S14 brakes without spacers
  15. I spotted it the other day as well. Looks nice
  16. Both are pretty much hated I used to own a few rotaries, and now have a nissan and an LS1. I just can't make up my mind!
  17. Chev is easier to fit too... but the 20B would be awesome. I contemplated this too, but in my 180
  18. Spotted the same CL I saw the other day being driven by an L plater... lucky kid!
  19. Hey, happy birthday Andrew! Have a good one mate
  20. Hey Darren, he tests cars for Motor, and Tarmac and is also a driver trainer at Luff's I think. Stuart: Sounds really nice man, should be an animal when it's done. Big fan of the LS1 engine
  21. An expensive accident with all those CF bits!
  22. Are you allowed to put GT-R guards on your car?
