  1. Nope, but that car is using my old engine I sold it to him when I built this new engine.
  2. I think it did Steve
  3. Truer words have not been spoken!
  4. Shall do mate. I'm speaking with Activ32 (Daniel) at the moment in regards to getting one made, so I'll keep you updated.
  5. Good news! Be keen to see what these rules entail Stu.
  6. Yeah, it looks to be the weakest link in the chain for sure. I want to run with it, see how it goes and if I'm not happy I'll be moving to a 3071 or 3037. I've got it here so I'd like to see what it can do. It was previously running 241rwkw's on a stock engine, including stock cams. If it can do 270-280rwkw's with a nice fat spread of torque I'll be happy for the time being.
  7. Yeah, I haven't been able to find any of the shelf ones as they obvisoult weren't popular enough. As my car is a 180SX I need it to seal off my fuel system from the cabin
  8. Thanks for that Ryan, might contact them if I can't get it done here.
  9. Ok, I also see: An electronic boost controller? Turbo timer Heat wrap Boss kit/Shaft spacer Some bushes.. not sure what for though
  10. Surely is, 2.2 big bore mate
  11. Yeah, I noticed the remote canisters. Are they D2's? I spy with my little eye... Oil adaptor Coilovers Castor rods Front and rear camber arms Rear LCA's Silicon radiator hoses Radiator Swaybar D2 (355mm?) brakes Thermostat Some sort of energy polarizer, though could be a flux capacitor
  12. Thanks mate. Mine was majorly cracked from hitting the screamer pipe on the ground, so had a massive hole in it. It had already been repaired in other spots though, so I'd ay you're spot on with the welds. The turbo is a HKS T300, so the flange hasn't been converted. It was all part of a kit, I just had the manifold repaired, and the wastegate location braced and moved from the bottom to where it is now. I've attached a pic of what it looked like when I bought it.
  13. Yep, it will stop turning when you've reached the maximum setting. Adjust them all the way in one direction, then you'll know what setting you're on. Then turn them back the other way noting the clicks, and get them even.
  14. Only way to run an external gate: Straight to the ground! Until I get pinged...
  15. Getting there... bit by bit. Modified HKS manifold, came out really well.
  16. Just run it in on the dyno mate, that's what I'll be doing. What does your engine builder recommend?
  17. Happy birthday mate! Hope you have a good one up in sunny ol' QLD
  18. Saw a black CL500 today, beautiful car! They've really got it right with this new shape.
  19. That would be great if you could mate. I'll shoot you a PM Cheers Dane
  20. Nice footage Andrew, pretty impressive for a little camera.
  21. Finally there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks man. My car never goes smoothly though... never
  22. Great stuff mate, pity they're not for S13's
  23. Sheez, looks like there were some hairy moments! Glad to hear there wasn't any major damage though
  24. Not good at all... I heard about this when I was watching Speedweek coverage of the event. Real shame, hope they both recover soon.
  25. Hopefully! I'm shooting for the Sandown Maserati day in October, so got lots of things to do. Picked up a bunch of paint yesterday, so should be getting the sound deadening out and spraying the interior tomorrow, and starting prepping the rear brembo's for paint yesterday. Then it's a rewire, get the tailshaft made, and piece the thing back together
