good info on the KU36s. I just got a some fronts put on the evo so i am interested to see how they go. main reason i got them though was value at $150ea... was tempted by the RSRs but i think they were a little deerer, and was a little concerned about how many kms i would get.

you need something like R888s or something?.... they were unbelieveable on the gtr.

I had nt05s on my gtr for awhile. Thought they were a pretty good tyre, but I was stuck for choice being 19in fpr a decent price. You may be better with something like a ku36 if its cheaper? Without knowing to much about the invos, would say the main difference of the nt05s would be better suited for track work, but may not notice the difference between the two on the street. Execpt the invos will probably be quiter and get more kms.. I would expect more than 10k kms in the nt05s though I think. Hope that helps

Yea sorry I was thinking the track. So are they upgrading both the hill climb and building a track, or combining both?

anyone know how far away that is? got to be awhile i would think?

yea righto thanks. will look into it but probably wont have the work done untill may anyway at the earliest. got a couple of things to get it sorted for the track, and need to find some spare cash haha.

awesome mate. whos running the SMSP south and wakefield in may, i might try and tag along to one and see how the evo goes... would be interesting to see how it compares to the gtr around SMSP south.

I thought it was is motor sport but it doesnt appear to be, called them this arvo... cautious avout running eflex after the guy said it isnt great onit etc... will be doing a trip metford for the next tank though I think ha

yea ok, i asked the guy and he said his tuner said its best not to push it too hard on eflex, but i didnt really believe much of what he said anyways haha... might need to track down the tuner and ask him about it... yea i did the test drive when it was on e85, couldnt really open it fully up in surburban sydney but it felt very fast ha. supposedly has 275awkw on e85, and 250ish on 98, although i think it feels slower than the gtr i think which had 242... so im guessing it might be around the 220-230 mark possibly... it has full exhaust, dump pipe, pod filter, injectors, fuel pump, rotors, clutch, ebc, bov, slotted rotors, all intercooler piping... think that is about everything, the guy didnt seem positive about exactly what was done, dont think he did the work to it. its black.. no pics yet sorry, will take some soon and throw them up.

Yea its tuned to united e85 though... and from what i have heard the eflex stuff is usually around the e70 mark? and trying to avoid a retune/ getting ethenol sensors etc.. but will see how we go, going to head out to metford for the next tank i think, will see how much better it goes side by side ha.

Will probably be busy friday at this stage.. starting to work on my house this week so will be flat out for awhile i would say ha. did pick up my new car on the weekend... got an evo 9... has nothing on the gtr for excitment and driving feel, but is quite comfortable for everyday driving and is abit of fun, and havent had a chance to take it for a good drive yet. It is dual mapped to run on e85 which it goes really well on, but im on pump atm as the closest united with e85 is bloody metford it seems... will do the job for a few years im sure and i think i will like going back to one car.

at this stage most likely an evo of some sort... looking to downsize money in cars and put more into property, and go back to just one car, so want something fun, i can drive daily, has abit of space (4 doors), is fast and can go to the track inexpensively... evos seem to fit the bill pretty well with the price range im looking at, i know it wont be the same as the gtr though unfortunately ha.
