  1. Sounds appealing, shall be a good event.
  2. +1. Having owned an Evo VII and an Evo VIII previously, I'd definately buy another in the future. Affordable, practical and quick off the mark for a stock vehicle.
  3. ^ Nice. You would know more than me, but im pretty sure i've seen quite a lot of series 2 (96 model) R33 GTR's with the N1 vents also. Know that they are not series 3 due to no xenon and no rear fog lamp. 95 model = no N1 vent.
  4. ^ Spot on mate. If I was to move forward, then a clean, stock late model example - vspec II or varient would most likely be it. I've had my quick cars, so still not so much looking for power at this stage. However the clean, stock GTR's are hard to find as there arent many left. Thats where the search can be both, the fun (and also the frustrating) part and with the long wait and work required getting it as close to 'perfection' as possible in my eyes its still something I need to decide whether its worth the time and money. On the flip side, with the R35 anyone can go and order one brand new from Nissan with little to no work required. And the depreciation / maintenance are the two pieces of the puzzle which have me second guessing them. Also the current unknown design faults which will show themselves in due time (For example with another model - the Nissan 350Z door lock actuators, window motors, convertible roof tears - etc). Interesting discussions and obviously, personal preference will always play a major part in a decision or recommendation. Thanks guys for your thoughts and insight.
  5. Thanks mate, still thinking about whether to go ahead with it (Im sure you know what its like). I wouldnt mind another immaculate bayside variant of the 34 GTR, or a 35. (Not sure about that last one just yet, to me the 34 GTR just has that sexy iconic appeal, rawness and reputation).
  6. Thanks for the kind words guys. She may be going up for sale soon, so if anybody wants to express interest in an immaculate and original bayside blue vspec, shoot me through a PM for details.
  7. Fantastic news, great it worked out for you.
  8. Pretty sure the bumpers are the same for series 1 / 2 apart from the series 2 having the N1 vents in the front of it.
  9. +1. Only fancy gentlemen and big girls wear skirts. Jokes.
  10. Thanks mate, thought it would be a good play on the cars colour name. Took the snap while crusing through palm beach on the weekend.
  11. Spotted a nice white R34 at work this morning and had a chat to the chick that owned it. Advised she was also a forum member, nice to meet you.
  12. Mine is completely stock and gets approx 400KM around town to a full tank.
  13. 'Bayside' blue
  14. 'Bayside' blue.
  15. Another fan of 'Bayside' blue here.
  16. ^ Looking great as always mate.
  17. Hard to tell from that picture, wouldnt know until you get it out and give it a go. Worst comes to worst, when you pull it out if you cant fix it - atleast it will be ready to have a new screen put in.
  18. PM sent mate.
  19. I have access to both, in excellent used condition. Whats your budget and where are you located? PM me if interested. Thanks.
  20. ^ 100%. For example a rotary buffer in the incorrect hands can cause a significant amount of swirl to your paint, and if they dont mask up the rubbers effectively it can burn and scar them. Each to their own though, you know what you're doing. Cant wait to see some pics.
  21. ^ Good advice, detailing process should wait post delivery for optimal results.
  22. Told ya they'd move quick. Well done, someones getting a great deal.
  23. Thats what I thought initially too, then saw this thread - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/260881-rb26-engine-covers/ Refer last post.
