  1. So in your opinion the swap of a turbo with a t3 flange to a turbo with a t25 flange was all good. The reason i am asking is because of the mixed emotions that i get when aking that question.That and they have never tried or known any1 who has tried it before. The major hypothetical reasons that i get from them though,i.e.Why it is best not to run a t25 flange on the r33 gts-t,is that the t25 flange would restrict the ammount of flow possible. Is this true.And are the exhaust turbines the same,from a t3 to t25 flanged turbo,size and specs only flanged differently?

  4. deffinently get new plugs and solder them into place.Bare wires are a dead giveaway. You know that if you disconnect the afm plugs that the car will not start.So in hindsight that the bare wires are the cause.Especially when you weigh in the fact of the above,that,a bare wire is halfway there.

Not me but id say,at a guess,that your diff is taking initial torque and your engine is under a stress lock momentarily.All this would come about because where teh tyres used to spin before letting the engine breathe a little b4 it now does not under certain loads. Babble!maybee.Never know it could be somthing else not the diff.But if it happened like it did when you say it did then it more than likely is the diff that is causing the knocks. :confused:

  7. So the sound travels through the pod.Im guessing it is very faint compared to my blitz supersound bov. I really feel like driving a car that doesnt draw the crowds attenion when going for a easy drive. But back to the subject.Either of them are pretty quiet.Yeah R31 nismoid id like it to be able to handle track days,which i am sure it will,thats all.
  8. Unique autosports sells them if you have any troubles getting 1 and i suppose a few impoters shops would have them f/s as well. Have you tried a zed forums yet.

  10. Good stuff but what the title was meant to say was, Turbosmart vs gfb plumback bov. Meaning the differences between the 2 brands of plumback bovs. And sorry about the late post i havent been able to get to the computer.

  13. Did your rebuild include forgies? Go to one of the sites that have an estimator.If u know the specs of your engine i dont see why it wouldnt give a close enough figure.

  15. Have any of you guys watched serious performance 6 and on it they have a look at what makes an intercooler good. I remember part of what he was saying was that the gtr cores are good for what they were intended for and as he was showing the core he explained that they would not be as efficient at moving air through the core as an aftermarket 1.And i could see the size difference in the bars of the aftermarket 1 compared to the gtr 1.gtr was much more restrictive and they are thinner than a hybrid. This would also not help when it comes to heat dissipation as the air would be trapped so to speak in the cooler for a fraction longer. The end tanks of the gtr looked allright though.
  16. There is a place out in penrith that has a fair bit of r33 gear.I.e.Boot lid,bonnet,front bar,front gaurds,wings. The place was called custom carbon.though i havent tried to call them of late they were still there last i heard.
  17. judgeing from your results you diddnt go the poncams with the turbo upgrade.Did you get a adj exh cam wheel? great hi-flow. When does teh garret 2535 come onto boost in the rev range compared to the hi-flow?I found there are 2 versions of it 1 in a 350hp and another in a 370hp version. :ufo:

  19. Imo.now that i think about it it might be a 33 worked to look like that cover car. In the description of itself it has written down that it has an rb26 but all i can see from the photos is a rb25.

I came accross this gts-t on the car sales website and cant help but think how familiar it looks. the interior the body work and the front mount allong with the mirrors and paint job all except that there is no wing.
