Well boys i was talking to an engineer for the rta in nswAnd this is what i could coax from him. *Pod filters are no good regardless of if they are in a box let alone exposed.Off road use only. *Front mount Intercoolers are allright,only because it doesnt usually change the emmissions as much as a pod filter would.Can be engineered. *Aftermarket boost controllers are illegal.They are for off road use only. *Suspension can be engineered. *Exhausts,again are allright depending on db readings.Can be engineered *Wheels can be engineered. *BOV'S are illegal if they vent to the atmosphere.Though afetrmarket ones can be engineered if they comply and vent back into the system. *Oil catch cans are allright and can be engineered as long as they vent back through the system. *Ecu,(stand alone),Are for off road use only. I diddnt ask about turbos because i know the answer i would get.Nor did i ask about turbotimers.Or access chips for ecus. That is why when a modified road car is imported and it has to go through regency/engineer it will have to be stock and then modified after it has been given the all clear as a roadworthy car.

i have rang just jap they have all bar the airbox. Still need: *std r33 gts-t s1 Airbox I have a little time before i need them.Though i havent been to justjap and might not for a week or 2 i still want these parts asap so i can get this out of my hair. Peeps who want to sell me the listed parts still post cause i havent been yet.

The front adj bar i got came with bushes only.Hope that helps.It's the rear bar that has the linkages.

Is the engineer rta certified? Can you pass on the details of who you got it done through. And did you have any other mods on the car to be certified.Like suspension,bov etc.

I was just informed by a fella at the rta that An engineers cert for a pod filter even enclosed could not be engineered.And that basically the car would have to be stock to get it over the pits and then i would have to modify it illegally once it is back on the road.Boost controllers are illegal also i found out in our quick talk. Oem seem to be the only ones that can. I am going for a blue slip and have been informed by the fellow at this place that Why the f**k own a modified car! Why allow the sale of aftermarket parts to people without proof of what that car is going to be used for.i.e.race car,rally etc.He told me that to get a pod filter engineered i would have to hire out a special booth that read emissions and such.And that i would be wasting my time cause it costs $3000 so why do that if you know you are going to be knowingly knocked back. They are a real shifty bunch our government they let the sale continue and in the mean time they get stricter on the rules for owning a modified car and still want to f**k you for having these mods on the car. They know we want these parts for our cars,and we definently know they want our money,so we keep forking our hard earned over to get the parts and they keep f**king us in the ass.Knowing that they can change the rules but dont want to because it earns them to much $$$$ from the fines. Now my quarrel with this is that if i had said no to the accident,which was not a claim to any insureance company,how could they find out about it,and if they did what if i just said to them the accident must have happened from a previous owner.in the same situation.no insureance. They would be none the wiser and id be $500 better off for it. F0(kin molarkey if you ask me. Anyway who has the best price for green slips these days.

The rear hub would only be 1 part of the problem me thinks.He could also have damage to his rear subframe and mounting points. A chassies puller,is hydrulic operated and is rigged up at the affected point to pull the chassie straight. Go to the smash repairer and get them to look at it.If they think it is fixable then you can get a written quote.

I am pretty sure that the rear can be adjusted up to a point but it may not be enough for you. But the front neeeds a camber kit.

Gotta agree on that.You juat cant justify why they do what they do somtimes.The Gov has it's own set of rules to contradict itself. Why should we cop an infringement for a certified vehicle with an engineers cert,to say that it is mod legal,only then to still get fined and have to contest it in court and win.

Does the front stabiliser bar only come with 2 urethane bushes. And is the rear the one that comes with all of the nuts,bolts and bushes etc. For the 33 gts-t.
