  1. Depends on the tune, but I'll say yes. Importantly before giving it a boot listen for knocking first as you wind her up! If you can get the F-Con V Pro re-tuned do it by a shop. Else if you have the experience and confidence buy a navigator and tune it yourself at or with a shop.
  2. Nah mate, why has your container already filled up . Soon it's leaving real soon. Will reply back to you in PM.
  3. It will cost you about 3 times more and I wouldn't do it any other way. I wouldn't bother importing if I was gonna pickup a shitbox, so the car is worth the care of a container. I would still remove everything you can, as there is a chance things go missing even at customs. No matter how small the item like gearknobs, car mats and even the car jack...write everything down on the shipping list. RORO is cheaper for obvious reasons and many feel it's fine afterall the money you save will help cover a respray if your unlucky! You could also take out insurance but I doubt many of you do....for those unseen accidents such as a torn/damaged front bar & sideskirts when they race off the ramp, scratches on doors and panels, undercarriage damage etc. Question is for minor but annoying damages like scratches and dents, it's your word against them and you'll probably end up having to fork out the money yourself. But I would say it all depends on the value and condition of the car. If it was in a fair poor condition and nothing could possibly be worth stealing, and it needs a new respray anyway then go RORO. Else for peace of mind, container...and you can fill it up with all your goodies!
  4. that's a very intelligent answer!!! and... reasons why forums turns to shit because people talk shit!
  5. What is a R33 GTSt...? or you refering to a R32 JDM or Aust WRX? in all fairness a JDM WRX should be the one considered don't you think! In terms of factory performance specs, you can't take anything away from the WRX. JDM WRX 98/09-99/08: 280ps/34.5kgm 1270kg. 99/09-00/07: 280ps/36kgm, 1270kg. 2.5 GTS25t Type M 97/02-98/04: 250ps/30kgm, 1370kg (2dr). 2.5 GTS25t Type M Spec I or II 96/01-98/04: 250ps/30kgm, 1370kg (2dr). 2.5 GTS25t Type M Active LSD 97/02-98/04: 250ps/30kgm, 1400kg (2dr). Comparing the same year...JDM WRX 96/09-97/08: 280ps/33.5kgm 1250kg. 97/09-98/08: 280ps/33.5kgm 1250kg. I can't see the WRX being any less competitive and who said R33 are cheaper, not valid in the land of the rising sun! Too bad we can't bring them in, they're bloody light for a 4WD turbo. The Aussie WRX still ain't a bad car for the money.
  6. I think you may have mistyped...only Skyline with a 6MT is the BNR34.
  7. Dude, yeah I was in Sydney in early Jan and last week. But on both occasions, I didn't have much time to catchup with anyone. I'll be back in Sydney early next month so I'll catch you then. Send me a PM on the wheels... Rob, you or your GF could have passed it to Justin and he could place it in my container.
  8. Justin, she's beast!. If I haven't been away too long...I believe she is and still the fastest around Central. The WR32 is looking great, how's the engine work going?
  9. Glenn, hahaha...very NATS style!!!...still salvagable I like the way they have done the rear guards. I've seen it done on a E5 before and considering doing it too. Course not to that extent, only because one day the plastic seals is going to shrink. It's already faded, but luckily it's not so noticable on Silver.
  10. hahaha...love your style!!! :D
  11. IIRC the Apex PFC weak point is not being able to work with d-jetro...not sure on the Apexi Pro version. Regarding the F-Con V Pro it's not a problem thus tuners' choice. Not sure on the F-Con SZ/SA...but I think it can also run d-jetro as it can be converted to a full-com but don't quote me on it. My December Option issue has gone walkies...but there is a comparison in there outlining the strong and weak points of all the Japanese CPUs. F-Con V Pro obviously wins out right as the best, but question I ask many is do you really need something like a F-Con V Pro, unless your after 600ps+!
  12. Mate I'd be suspicious of any man who has to openly clarify this manhood on a public forum . So how's Mr. Kemeri and you these days? PM replied
  13. Great pics, what's the event? Also where's the wine red 32
  14. Good stuff, yeah I know what I'm missing. Stopping making me feel worst you bustard!!!
  15. Iwells, you have to understand the quality of NATS' workmanship...hehehe...they are an automotive colleage for those choosing a career in the automotive design industry. But I do give them credit for some of their other interesting creations in the past. As long as they have not f**k up any body panels, chopped the car or welding a different rear end...the Evo may be salvagable!
  16. I think Jess is shy about the shitbox, just kidding...is the car fixed yet!
  17. Rob finally going home hey. Exactly when you leaving, you maybe able to help me help you...PM me.
  18. true that...the concept for E10 right!
  19. dude, very nice car...but IIRC '97 Autos were still 260ps, wasn't till late '98 did the Auto have 280ps. Looks like there are now 2 in Aust, a mate is also selling his. Good Luck with the sale.
  20. nice mate...you know I'm not married and will be visiting later this year
  21. Glen, Geezus...what did Nats do to the Evo...how's the rest of the car? What else did they graph on to the car?

    I've been busy...

Justin, you have been busy. Love that RX-7 in your signature. Agree the R32 rear looks weird, would have to see the whole car I guess to see what kind of theme the shop was after. Oh and isn't she a pretty one, just to remember to invite some J-chicks when you visit .
  23. no worries, it was probably late when I read your message.
