  1. Ever heard of Group N JAF defined the N1 class back in 1991 based largely on FIA Group N but changed some criterias for domestic motorsport competition. Later due to changes in regulations of N1 differing from Group N, JAF reformed the regulations and N1 was changed to Super Taikyu Series.
  2. You have sharper eyes then me KR4 KV2 WV2 is also nice
  3. I can't tell you now, the book to check is at home but Justin maybe able to as I'm still at work. But dam I like your taste...both Midnight Purple II and III were only released on 300 GT-Rs each.
  4. Colours 1999/1-2000/10 2000/10-2001/5 2001/5-2002/8 Select the 2nd tab up top for colours.
  5. Becareful because it's a V-Spec and IIRC the V-Spec II Silvers are different. Charlie...which purple...Midnight II or III?
  6. Justin, where did you get KR4? #KV2?
  7. ...last time for the reading impaired! Perhaps the Sat Navi was already turned off. Any installation by an auto electrician has to ensure the TV is off when the vehicle is moving, that's the only requirement FOR AUST! Sat Navi by right should remain ON for it's purpose, however as I've explained above again units overseas especially the Japanese units are not restricted to this STUPID rule...so when POWERING OFF the TV will also POWER OFF the SAT NAVI...i.e. backlight off = nothing can be viewed anyway! If you could some how inhibit the TV or prove to the officer the TV was not active in the background then you will be OK. Perhaps Holden, Ford and Nissan have done for the Aust market...certainly wasn't the case in a friend's Aust delivered E430. AFAIK other makers are using the speed signal to trigger and turn off the backlight to comply.
  8. a little birdy told me the next Silvia is a V16 ...where did S16 come from?
  9. that is not my point, it is illegal AFAIK to have the TV on but not the sat nav...in some units powering off the unit is the only way to turn it off thus the unit tucks away. I would know we manufacture sat navs in Japan which are also fitted to Mercedez Benz.
  10. Sat navi is a dead industry in Aust as far as I'm concern...doesn't the screen have to power off while the car is moving thus the screens folding away.
  11. Dave, most of mine are up over on PF http://pforums.company-hosting.com/forums/....php?t=67183365
  12. I got nothing against you locking the thread... I have to ask Kayo, how exactly I drive a car
  13. or should I have called it, Batsuman -> "the Truckie and Tarzan do Aida!"
  14. Drift X-treme Show
  15. wow 6 points...I only know 3 points, and would think 3 point is sufficent, but obviously the more the better. I'd say the difference is 1.) how good the installer is and 2.) one who you can trust to not come around and knock off your car or spread news about it as he/she may have your home address.
  16. I only know they have RHD because they sell Japanese cars RHD over there... Funky may be on the money with both systems applicable.
  17. Raman?!?! Yamada Eiji Yamada you mean, yes he is a real character also met him at OAM ... Tarzan may know how to swing from tree to tree, Tarzan can drive like no other, but Tarzan know NO how to drift a work trolley . Exculsive pics after closing at OAM!
  18. Dave, the Hakusoka are the goods mate...never will I see so many in the one place at the one time. My favourite also are the March Cup cars...but unfortunately we missed the race. The cars were driven by many big time drivers. With all the cars the same power, it was only skill that can help them win the race!
  19. Was indeed a good drive wasn't it, not as much traffic as I anticipated. I'd show mine but you two look better as a couple - Batsuman and Tarzan what a couple!
  20. Since Batsuman locked the other thread, I've linked the shots over to this thread, so we can comment. Link to Batsuman's thread So where are the pics of you Batsuman and Tarzan dude? A highlight of the day was of course the drive...me not waking up on time and thus rushing to the event. Nothing like cold fresh mountain air - boost cruziiiiing . I stayed on 140 most of the way over, but with so many GT cars travelling together on the highway it was just too hard to stay under . Justin had a bit of fun with a black Altezza ...so much that he miss the exit! ---- Me: what's he doing? we've got to exit! Glenn: (funny fark counting down towards the exit) 500m, 400m, 300m, 200m, 100m... Me: (fiddling with the mobile trying to call Justin, but at the speed we were crusing at, the exit came and gone before I could even dial), dude we missed the exit. Justin: we did! Me: OK next exit is Mimasaka. Disclaimer: driving at high speeds and trying to operate a mobile is not recommended by untrained professionals. --- On the way back it was painfully slow the last 15km due to roadworks...curse them for working on a Sunday night argh! The Hakusuka was by far the main highlights of the day for me...f**k me dead they are so beautiful and so many of them. I'm sure Glenn will agree, the majority of our photos are KPCG10! I'll have my pics up later in the day or tonight... Yes very disappointing there weren't many RQs I guess it was just too cold...
  21. this may be the split WRX...was posted over on PF.
  22. Beg Dave to bring the Accord, DCD's GT-R, Justin's GTSt and you should be able to transport 7 people ...all chip in for the toll and petrol and I'm sure they will agree.
  23. you do now... off topic...on Sunday I reckon my car may just make it down the ramp into your car park, but I'm more concerned with how wide the parking spaces is. Widebody plus wide track = poor turning circle .
  24. OK you slacker, next weekend not coming...Saturday night we'll organise a cruise Kobe, Sannomiya - dinner. Rokko - to see how good your Initial D skills are. Chiko - drags. 24hr Sumiyoshibashi bookshop - need I say more , else you will see. Osaka inner loop line - some fun can be had Shinsaibashi - get pissed! or head back to my place whatever!
  25. akeenan good one... As stated only Australians are allowed personal imports and only after 12 months of ownership with the accompanied documentation to prove. I see no reason in buying one in Japan, they are still too new and I can tell your not going to save that much...and you've said it yourself "a bit cheaper".
