  1. Rob, told yah to come along to the NISMO festival. Earliest one is Feb 20, 2005 in F_ukuoka if your still here. Osaka isn't till July 24, 2005. PS. replacing words is just ghey fella
  2. Shameless plug, if you want to buy any I can get them for you...helps when you have a mate working at HKS Technical Factory .
  3. Dave, you are asking people who the majority have never ever even seen a M35. Yes they came in turbo right from the very start VQ25DET, Justin made the same mistake as well. Only thing is they are all Auto. But I wouldn't care...with 280ps/41.5kgm...they are the shitz! More then enough power for your family duties and for a bit of fun.
  4. OK looking at it now, it is correct but the GT-25 series is not entirely gone...the GT2530 and GT2530Kai are still available. Also you can still buy GT25 0.64 and 0.86 exhaust housing. Gone GT2510 GT2535 GT2540 GT2540R
  5. While you all think dealers do it, I get buyers (owners) who buy through me requesting the odometer to be wound back. So it's not always the dealer but could be one of your mates As someone mentioned in another thread, you can only believe what's good if you work with someone you trust over here to check it all out for you.
  6. I can check at home tonight if you want, I just got my copy of the new 2005 dealers catalogue
  7. Go a Fuga , seriously I wouldn't buy a GT-R, Evo or STi...they are all not suitable for family duties. If you must buy, newer the better. Justin will tell you he has almost had the shits with the R32. Buying a newer car maybe more expensive but your also buying peace of mind. M35 or E51 you know you wanna. There is a white BNR34 near my place which has been sitting in the parking lot for as long as I can remember...very very very low kilometres. Hasn't been washed and looks very dirty, as the owner is always away most of the time. If I ever want a BNR34 I know I'll be asking if he wants to sell.
  8. Ahhh shudup , but then you've got 2 other cars to share the load. Shaken coming up, time to sell up for a V35 .
  9. There is of course always both sides, as Brian has put the other side forward. I picked up my car ('98 build) back in Jan 2002 with 43,000 genuine K's, by calculation the previous and first owner averaged 10,500km/year. It's now almost 2005 and she read close to 67,000km. As you can see I've since been averaging less...8000km/year.
  10. are you serious...not convinced that is the sole purpose, I will have to ask the cops next time. Yes, I reckon we're right about the wind...the bug deflector is going to serve that purpose anyway...in keeping bugs off by channeling the air over the windscreen, cause I can't see it blocking much if you said it was head on.
  11. Everyone askes about the air deflector...helps the wind to blow over the sirens and reduces distortion when using the PA.
  12. On the Evo I once considered a CF bonnet, only to find it was less than 3kg lighter compared to my already factory delivered aluminium bonnet. Like the GT-R I wouldn't bother. If I take out my carpets or jack...whatever, I would save more than 3kg, so there isn't much point. Plus the money you spend on these bonnets, would be much better used towards performance mods which would negate 3kg anyway. IMO CF and wet CF over fibre glass bonnets are ghey on a street car...unless your a really hardcore circuit/drag racer. It's not going to make much of a difference in performance other then impress your mates. Also if you have ever seen it, fibre glass bonnets will flex anywhere from 0.5-1+ inches at high speeds. Thus why bonnet pins are used to help provide additional fixing points to prevent the bonnet from balooning and also secure the bonnet from suddenly opening up on you when your doing a 1/4mile...the factory bonnet lock is going to do jack with winds picking up the edges. So you install bonnet pins, but hang on bonnet pins are illegal! Stick with your factory bonnet, paint it black if you wish or an aluminium bonnet...at least it crumples properly in an accident.
  13. f**k there you go, dam spy photographers...and now the secret is out. And Justin was doing such a great job leading everyone away from the truth. Might as well leak some info to keep people on there toes. As you can see Nissan has recruited Funkymonkey as their head bodywork designer and Test driver Rezz, strongly hiding the styling of the next R35 GT-Rezz wagon. Powered by the same VQ32DETT, 6sp tiptronic, AWD etc..this is one wagon not to mess with. Rear mid mounted and quad turbos help propel the 1700kg wagon to 100km/h in 4.5s and 1/4 mile time of 12.5s onto a top speed of 300km/h. Exterior clues show the large rear wing helps improve down force at high speeds and the large front bar to reduce lift. Interior is complete in full luxury, with leather bucket seats all round, dual airbags & SIPS, mini-bar, 21" LCD with DVD and PS2. Expected price - *dr evil voice on* "not 1 trillion yen...but 1 million yen!"
  14. You have seen the light The only car HKS Japan would touch for circuit racing none of this GT-R circuit car bullshit :) Well until the next GT-R, none have since matched a quicker time around a circuit . How does a little 4banger with only a 3037s and 550ps do it! .
  15. fools...Nissan is no longer building the GT-R but the GT-Rezz!
  16. SteveL, is there something we know that others don't shhhh...
  17. Justin, so how many kilometres did we cover last Sunday in 1.5 hours Trust me people...they do drive and like you and I they like to enjoy their performance cars. When someone sends me an email to source a car, I always tell them up front.
  18. trader...may want to speak to the forum owner if you want to advertise!
  19. sorry to hear, condolence ...
  20. in teh net dating Don't expect too much, just be like friends. J-gals are easily commited thus hard to rid. Unless you both are willing to take it to the next level which you obviously are, then spend some quality time to see if it is worth going through with it. Like any girl...she loves to be pampered
  21. Kinda...almost sold all the items so it's not so bad...but the boxes will come soon. Dave, me serious...you know I'm far from ever serious and mods hold the highest level of patience . Don't worry, I know Justin well enough to know when he's having a go at me...and I know where he lives .
  22. Exactly, which is why I don't see the point of this thread at all. If it was a newbie sure enough this may come as a surprise to them. But having had past post with IG, I believe he has been here almost as long as I have. What is new! I've worked in a fair few countries and almost all of Asia, and it's the same thing...some people know how to help and some don't. You really having a bad one this week aren't ya! Same as HK, Taiwan, China, Korea and Bangkok...why single out Japan. I'm not supporting any country here, just really don't see your point. You guys just haven't seen nothing yet if you wanna bitch about one country! Should I start pointing out 3rd world countries have a stronger knowledge on valuing human life because of the high death rate or more common sense/morals than some educated poeple...and Yes, I have spent substantial time in a 3rd world country building facilities and transportation system to help them move forward.
  23. Must also be the same for IG
  24. IG really, you generalise too much!
  25. Yes, it is rather tragic...but IG do you really have to spell it out. This could also be just one case...with the pedestrians not doing anything. In a country so prone to natural disasters and so many emergency workers, I'm sure most people would know what to do.
