  1. Hay guys I have a gtt r34 just curious to see if anyone cab point me in the direction of a wiring diagram or color code or a picture for the signal wire for the tacho as I am trying to install a shift light.

  4. 2.7 on a standard crank ? That's asking for trouble.

Take it from me I had an Rb25de r34 spent soo much money when I was on my p's seriously don't bother I have owned my 34 gtr now for 6 months and that was money well spent don't bother trying to recondition an engine like that unless your reason is to keep it for 30 years and display it as a classic just buy a gtt or gtst and spend the money on that even if your on a restricted license which i assume you are just build a rb25det and drag it or track it. That's just my two cents don't pay any attention to me that's just my regret.
  6. If the gasket failed a second time is it possible that the exhaust side of the turbo is warped etc? Or just bad luck with the new gasket, it looks like the top of the metal gasket in the middle is bent an not sitting flush between the turbo exhaust flange, all lock nuts still appear to be tight
  7. All good turns out to be the exhaust gasket again
  8. I hope not that sounds costly? New turbo ? Or is it repairable
  9. Hay guys I have had boost issues previously , I had the exhaust gasket on the turbo replaced and changed all the nuts of the flange to lock nuts. Today when I drove the car even in low or high boost it has a screetching sound very disturbing. I have a manual boost controller set at 10psi bit on my boost gauge now with this noise it hits about 6-7psi. I have no smoke coming out or anything like that so what do you guys think?

  13. Hi, I just had the same problem. Hissing at High boost. It was just the bolts from the exhaust flange were loose which was easily repaired just replacing with lock nuts and a new gasket.

  15. Hay man where are the pillars on that yahoo website, I'm after an r34 pod pillar that holds 52mm gauges? Can't seem to find them anywhere.

  17. Hi, i am in need of a gauge pod pillar (either 2 or 3 gauges) to fit 52mm gauges. Need to be a direct fit for a r34 skyline gtt do not want any universal pillars. Thanks. PM me
  18. Hay guys sorry i hope i am posting in the correct section. I am after either a double or tripple pillar gauge pod to fit 52mm gauges also after 2 new radiaor mounts. anyone help would be much appreciated, send me a pm if your able to help.
  19. Sounds ok to me,are u using the shift to manually change the gears because your video indicates 7000rpm =redline on first gear may be a transmission fault.

  21. Hey guys just thought I would post up a little story about what happened to my skyline r34. So I had my dodgy Korean mechanic change my timing belt etc than 3 days later a piece of the fan couling broke off and hit the fan therefore damaging my radiator = no good. So I replaces the radiator after pulling all the plastic out and took it for a drive and whatdo you know I split another radiator without any plastic etc. I took it to the mechanic and he said my water pump was damaged so I replaced that and installed an aluminum radiator been fine for about 1 month . Than I did a track day last week at Wakefield . Noticed some fins on radiator were bent. So i did my own research and decided to remove the r34 gtt plastic fan and install a gtr 33 fan because they have a lesser pitch at 6000rpm. Now I haven't had a problem. Just a story and a solution for anyone out there who had or has the same problem as this.
