  1. the only graph i have is here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/post-a235105- i might have another 1 @ home, let me check later a/h just to add, 405awkw = approx. 450rwkw (it was 1 of the 1st q's i asked my tuner when it was done on his dyno, my mates who drive fords & holdens always ask "whats kw is that rear wheels?")
  2. i was just questioning the number mate, nothing more my previous gtr with 26bottom end & gtrs's made 750nm torque...my current 30bottom end with -10s makes 930nm. our kw are almost identical but the nm is very different? maybe my ported made the difference? would a similar engine setup with e85 @ 24psi (i.e. yours) v's 98 @ 24psi (i.e. mine) impact the peak torque? maybe its just a case that e85 truly works better on higher boost?
  3. paul explained to me that the crack was repaired 5yrs ago...maybe from all of the strain the engine has undergone caused the crack to weep?
  4. As u said paul, last thing u want to do is bin it down the track with coolant on the back wheels @ 150mph. Safety first
  5. the cam cover is the 26 but must be modified to suit - not sure myself mate
  6. i cant wait feel the difference but im not expecting a huge increase
  7. Steve, is that torque graph right? Looks to be 730nm...
  8. i wondered about the Okada Project Plasma Directs as i saw them on rhdjapan website when i ordered my splitfires BUT the price was 3 times that of the splitfires @ $1450 for the set...anyway, my tuner recommended splitfires so i stuck with them liek u say as well - any new coil pack will be better than 20year old factory coils!
  9. hey mark, i thought some ppl would appreciate the info
  10. good to hear you're gonna give a hard nudge & get that 8sec 1/4 do u know what date you're heading out as yet?
  11. ive had an abundance of pm's on this thread so here is the answer...the engine covers are not rb26 BUT rb25 (or was it rb20)
  12. Would be a good idea to upgrade but its like changing the stock bov's on a gtr, no required. If my ignition wasn't up for the task my tuner would have told me from the onset. I'm only running 405awkw maybe when pushing monstrous power this mod is needed on the gtr
  13. I did my fj20t transplant in my dato1600 on the road (and a few other cars which I'm not particularly proud of owning)
  14. evrywhere u suggested - i just tracked them rhd for $615 delivered
  15. there is a MASSIVE shortage of splitfires in aust - does anyone stock these locally? i might have to order via rhdjapan...
  16. when are we going for a drive steve
  17. Well the daihatsu might crack 300km/h in reverse gear with a/c on
  18. Haha now that is a versatile engine hoist, better than pushing a mechanical engine hoist over the worlds most roughest driveway
  19. How does the pricing compare to os giken? Has anyone here had experience with AGY?
  20. thanks - there is a featured r32 & r34 gtr in this website, i just luv the way they modify their cars!
  21. i also hear of another well respected sau member that is going with a nitto built engine (name remains disclosed ) if i built another gtr donk it would definitely be nitto, without a doubt!
  22. i'd say there was a bit pursuasion involved on jims behalf with the nitto bottom end. you arae right though, it ran the jun engine for at least 6yrs+...that car lives @ crd
  23. do u have a link on this auto gallery box? ive never heard of them before
