  1. the administrators need to be aware of this guy as 1 of my mates also bought a part from 'aaron' almost a month ago as well (aka darren irvine)...to date, goods have not arrived! he also supplied a tracking number which was incorrect. has anyone received parts from this member or does he need to be banned?

  5. Thanks for the info guys. I was hoping that there was a highly recommended disc machinist, I guess I'll do a search on google for "brake and clutch specialist"
  6. I should also add that I've read a few disaster stories on here where machined discs have not been done correctly and caused vibration which I obviously want to avoid. Is the standard thickness for front and rear 30mm and minimal thickness 28mm?
  7. hi guys, ive performed a search & cant find my answer...does anyone have a recommended disc machinist in sydney to lathe my front & rear rotors? imn waying up the cost of machining v's dba 4000's which come in @ $700 for front & rears, for an r32gtr. thanks in advance marko
  8. I ran an 11.15 @ 129.75mph in my r32gtr with 322awkw It was capable of a high 10 but when I did my best 60foot time @ 1.5sec I held it across the line in 3rd gear and was on the limiter for at least 0.5sec...I still can't get over it almost 2yrs later

There is a 2 storey house on stacey st in bankstown which is directly opposite bankstown square shopping centre, this house has been sold many times over the past 20yrs since it was built and been in the paper as a haunted house...unfortunately u cannot take a tour as it is a private residential home. I had an encounter where my mate and I saw an old woman in the backyard on a rocking chair for a split second. My brother and I also saw my father a no. of times after he passed in 2008 - god bless his soul

  13. What did your tuner report as the cause of the high knock? Yeah the clutch can cause a lot of noise I know what u mean about high knock caused by the starter motor, it must be the starter pinion engaging with the flywheel, mine has shown 120+ on start up so I religiously reset my peak values after start up. I know when mine has hit high knock in 3rd gear and literally only flickers the engine light on the dash, like a quick spike. If it stayed on continuously I'd be freaking out

  15. quick update guys. spoke to my tuner this morning...his synopsis is that it could be valve train, piston slap or genuine knock due to fuel quality – he needs to go thru the motions to rectify which is booked for next week.
  16. If it was pinging 1 would that the pitting would be across the board? Not just cylinder no.5

  20. i run the blitz dsbc (dual solenoid) which is a very good controller the colour display is pretty cool as well
  21. how tough does that dato 1600 look i had 1 back in 98 with fj20t - it was a little beast
  22. you are right NSNPWR - my peak boost is higher by about 1 or 2psi in winter than it is in summer (according to my blitz controller)

  24. you're freaking me out lol its a fresh engine with only 1500km on it, forged etc with all of the 'ducks nuts' in terms of hardware. engine does blowby at times but its expecting when running 24psi & 700bhp. not sure about turbo pipes but again my turbo's are new. idle is good grrrrough & lumpy. i will check all hoses i.e. fpr & other plumbing. can i test my knock sensors?
  25. i can understand both sides, i.e: 1. ash with more O2 = leaner & subsequent higher boost (does make logical sense) 2. nsnpwr that higher air temp will cause pinging (i have experienced this in the past) in fact, the 1st question i asked my tuner when it was done "is it safe to push on hotter days?" in my other gtr i remember my tuner telling me "the tune is safe, when it gets hotter though maybe take 2psi off the controller for that extra buffer"...this suggests to me that nsnpwr is right. i think both of you are right in your own way
