Some ppl say that the r35 is ugly, yeah right - I refer to this as envious or jealousy. They are beautiful beasts!

The Best Looking Skyline (Including The R35 Gtr)
Marko R1 replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Photography
For me its always been the 32 for the reason that this series made the footprint for what today is, the gtr icon. Group A racing here in aust with the winfield and go gtr...u simply cannot match the history and impact it has made -
^ thanks for confirming! whilst i am here, i may as well post another pic of my gtr hehe...here is a pic with the funky rear tail lights illuminated now with better quality image!

Aussie Delivered R32 Gtr's
Marko R1 replied to BoyWhoCriedWolf's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
63 & counting...with another 3 ADM's we have a list which equates to 2/3 of the ADM market which I think is awesome!!! As a side note: We should look at getting exclusive ADM stickers made up for our rear windscreen - something small. It would have to be a generic sticker though, unless we somehow integrated the build no# on each sticker? Any ideas or thoughts around this (or is it just a plain silly idea that would never take off)? We could base it off a sticker used for other cars & clubs (like the Ford GT or Torana club maybe?) yes - it was to be a temporary fix to get the car up & running (it was safely secured inside the rail - 6 months later it was still there

i wonder if my rubber return line had anything to do with this which ran from the engine to the boot, as rubber would be a better heater insulator than a steel hose line? i agree that extra lines would provide cooling properties to a small degree, although, my surge tank was mounted in the boot (very little ventilation) & i was very surprised with how warm the surge tank would become after a decent run. i no longer have that car so its no longer my problem (the surge tank ended up in a 900hp supercharged 67 mustang)

are these gearbox & diff coolers factory on the z-tune? what an awesome pic btw!
-
great thread & some nice GTR's here! here is my ADM GTR.
-
Come to think of it, I had the same problem when I took my car for a 3 hour drive and the exhaust light flashed on my dash at the time. It was leaning out and must have been due to the warm fuel and bad tolerance 044's. Does anyone have a cross section image or detail of the gtr tank as I've been informed that the r32 tank is well baffled. I've always wanted to what it looks like inside...

Lol the car is a better investment than property. Capital growth is second to none hihi
-
^ I had plenty of noise with my old setup and was also surprised how warm the fuel got as well...definitely overworking the fuel, complete overkill

Aussie Delivered R32 Gtr's
Marko R1 replied to BoyWhoCriedWolf's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hi guys, The above quoted actually has plates GDZILA. In the register list we have: 24. QLD plates ONBAIL & now replaced with GDZILA, 447kw, T66 low mount setup with roll cage, 18” BBS LM gold wheels ...this is not the same car as what is sitting at CRD, hence NSW plates GDZILA has slipped thru the cracks as it is not on the list. I will update the list. -
I too prefer in tank setups...I've had an external setup with 3x044's and its just sooo much neater when u can't see it, besides that, u can tell the police the car is stock with just an exhaust Btw Dean, I watched your footage in your sig and it is a very nice gtr. The white wheels set it off!!! Is this Matt's old nusmo gtr? Looks very familiar.

IMO the enkei rfp1's are probably the best looking rim for the r34 and they are very well priced. I personally wouldn't run spacers on your r34.
-
You are right. Back on topic
-
You have put this into perspective for me haha, the good old whale gtr now makes sense. I need to be careful here though as I have 2 friends that have 33s
-
So tell me what MPH is required to crack a 10 pass? I guess rob @ rips racing who holds the world record with his rb doesn't know what he is talking about lol. Hopefully you can prove him wrong...good luck with that 1 ash! I bring this down to good driving. No pussy footing, launch off the limiter. I uploaded my results a few years back in the drag section and it formed a good discussion which was not questioned once. And now, here we are. Mico and the rest of the guys in this thread, apologies once again.
-
I had the same power level as you and this is capable of a 10.8 pass, proof is in the pudding The hi octane r32gtr ran a 9.7 on circuit slicks i think haha and that had 440kw from what I remember? It isn't even a purpose built drag race, pure circuit car
-
My PB 60 footer was 1.5sec and I remember when it hooked up that I actually lost grip of the steering wheel. It really got me by surprise as I didn't expect those G's. I always had a higher respect for bikes as you get into 1:1 power to weight ratio hence this was a friendly wake up call for me at the time.
-
Funny u ask haha, I just found it. My figures were out by .1sec and 1mph
-
I have the graph but cannot find it, have a feeling its at my mums house. It made 345kw at 19psi...it definitely felt like full boost at the revs I quoted and it was on song without a doubt.
