  1. I sold the car
  2. My 26 with -5s had full boost between 3500-4000rpm and it was very nice. Did not feel laggy at all.
  3. for your viewing pleasure - there are 2 ADM's @ CRD! plates GOZILA: plates JUN: nothing better than a lumpy & grumpy rb26 idle IMO!!!
  4. Very true though getting good pics of black wheels
  5. They are actually midnight purple like sexual chocolate
  6. that is because you lose value & respect for an item when u pay for only 1/2 of it. by far the most helpful & knowledgeable GTR enthusiast that i've ever come across. too right sledging is a pet hate of any decent human being with morals agreed 100% - nice gtr & good luck with the sale, the matt black engine covers look awesome!
  7. The more I see these e85 results the more I need to get my ass into gear. Are u using pump e85?
  8. That is a 40kw gain from pump to e85 which is just awesome. Great result making 420rwkw on a low 19-20psi!
  9. I wonder with the ambulance rotors if that affects braking power? I was always under the assumption that softer rotors provide better braking. With ambulances though, it is only designed for street conditions so that would be ideal for longevity.
  10. Is cryogenics recognised or practiced by the Japanese? I remember when I first joined this forum and reading up on this when paul diemar was using cryogenics as well as crd...it obviously is tried and proven, however, it also seems to be a thing of the past OR ppl simply dont discuss it these days. I've always been interested in this subject and TBH if I built another engine or box, I would use this method
  11. That is correct, it was 1 of many ADR requirements (128 to be exact). ADM's also have a taillight at the top of the rear window for better brake light visibility.
  12. Sorry can't help u there bob
  13. Gtr's are an addictive money pit. I fall in this category like most of us here
  14. Twoogle was a dead set icon in many ppls books
  15. i actually have a pic of my car on my old HD and it looked fat with those MT's - i couldn't believe how much it filled out the guards with the 16's. i also have my timeslip - i'll dig it out, if only i can remember where ive stored it after major home renovations.
  16. they came off twoogle & were also run on mark jacobsens gtr - so its the same size as what they ran if that helps?
  17. sorry i cannot recall as i borrowed them from paul diemar at the time
  18. a street rb that revs to 12krpm lol - i'd like to see that
  19. what car is that out of interest? age is also a big factor after talking to terry @ award diff about this in the past i also ran MT drag radials which have a larger rolling diameter, how accurate is the timing equipment @ WSID? my relatively certain that my limiter back then was set to 9krpm (i know it was a tad lower than my 3ltr which was set to 9.5krpm)
  20. i also ran the 1/4 mile with a stock box in my previous gtr which made 320awkw & managed a 11.1 sec with 129.75mph. that was my last run, however, i crossed the line in 3rd gear & was bouncing on the limiter & my 60 footer wasn't that good (1.6sec?) considering the relatively low power level i had at the time (hks gtss @ 23psi) that car was capable of a 10sec pass, but unfortunately i fudged it over the line breaking boxes i think comes down to the driver & treating the box with respect, i.e. no flat changing
  21. If u track the barb u should be able to work out what its for, just trace it back as I had the same issues when I did my engine but I took a lot of detailed pics and labelled each fitting
  22. A good head is always worth its weight in gold...now, back onto engines HA!
  23. Goes to show how much of a bargain I missed, the bottom end I was referring to was only 5k
