  1. this is way off topic, however, recently 2 aust delivered gtr's sold on shannons website for 52k & 53k. 30k for a vspec2 is almost half of that, very cheap (i'll keep my mouth closed moving forward )
  2. depends on what you are chasing... ive had both now & this is my opinion: - if u want effortless/lazy power, ball tearing mid range & an engine which is not as free revving, build an rb30. - if you want more of a drivers engine where u need to be in the right gear & its sounds like a gtr should do, build an rb26. - option 3, buy an r35 with 3.8ltr if u want REAL torque (just apply for a mini house loan)
  3. im interested in where u got those prices as well - there are some fakes floating as well so need to be careful when purchasing
  4. haha paul - were u really that impressed with my rb2630 i now have an rb26 & i personally wouldn't do another rb2630, the car becomes a 'chop shop' & besides that, rb26 revs much nicer & howls when compared to the 3ltr i also think though, either stick with the rb26 OR if u want larger displacement go straight to a 3ltr or larger
  5. good point... - aust delivered released 100 units (37 unaccounted for) - n1 edition released 228 units - nismo edition released 560 units - vspec2 edition released 1303 units...surely this would make it more valuable than a standard r32 gtr? still, this price is a good price for a clean gtr!
  6. sorry iplen - reason the pm's were not coming thru is because my inbox was full, ive made more room though so pm's will no longer bounce
  7. Yes ohlins still available, I had another 2 pm's over the long weekend as they are popular!
  8. The id1000's are almost half the price of id1600's and id2000's, 1600's and 2000's are 250each ouch...and I thought jap injectors were hefty In my old setup I had bosch 1600's (indy blues) and they were only 90bucks each
  9. ok - i'll let crd decide when i take it to jim
  10. Atm I'm smashed, drinking all day and had a 15kg pig on the spit so my mind is clear...I'll stick with 98 pump and my 700cc injectors and leave it with my tuner (crd). So how my pierburg fuel pump runs as they support 500awkw without a problem
  11. Well my plan is stay on pump 98 so I'm hoping I can get away with 700's. I'm also going to run a pierburg fuel pump intank which supports 360lph, compared to the 044 which runs 200lph it is 66% more efficient. I'm going for a clean setup Not many ppl know about the pierburg apart from the odd workshop. They run them in the mercedes amg series and the bugatti veyron
  12. So you have finally taken the plunge paul?
  13. i was unaware of that - i still have a lot to learn about the vipec capabilities (still thinking of my dinosaur pfc)
  14. i used to run 1650cc on my pfc
  15. what percentage is considered dangerous, i.e anything over 90%? when do injectors lose efficiency?
  16. 39. rear gtr seat belts SOLD front set of seat belts are still available
  17. and fair enough for asking as well (im always in the passenger seat when she drives it haha)
