if you look between the brake booster and the guard on the drivers side you will see a small black plastic box (MAP sensor) with a vac line that runs to the inlet plenum, tee into that

take +ve from the cigarette lighter -ve to chassis under gear boot Tee the vac line at the factory MAP sensor to the left of the brake booster

Bonnet, headlights and front bar are all series 2. Maybe "one day" when you buy a Skyline you will be in a better position to comment........tool!

installing a lockbar wont help the power steering issue when I installed my lockbar I figured I didn't need the HICAS electronics at all so unplugged the HICAS ECU and the power steering disappeared - plugged back in and all back to normal Dale, I'd say it's a fuse or the HICAS ECU itself

Thanks Dan I spotted a few errors after posting originally but the stupid "no edit after X mins" means it now can't be changed A bit more info. Just drove from Brisbane to Sydney - 35 degree day, oil temp sat at 80 degrees the whole way, oil pressure sat on 90 psi @ 3000rpm the whole trip, fuel consumption was 8km per litre (12.5L per 100km) consistently with mixed driving and aircon on about 50% of the time. The car will be in Sydney until Monday if anyone is interested.
