NVE57 From personal experience, I find plenty of SAU ppls enjoy the cruise scene alot, as they cruise more regular than I do. But when you come on here and arc up over some trivial comments which historically has some merits. From what I have read above and in other forums, I have no doubts that the cruise will be big and most probably lacks any police presence as with SAU menbers. Everyone loves to be able to enjoy their pride and joy, but it will only hapens at their own discretion. No amount of negativity is going to change that, as the bulk of the ppls on this forum have in the past establish long term respect for the police force disregarding what happen late one night in the middle of nowhere. Everyone has a right to be young and stupid at some time in their life, and you will find alot of the menbers here are beyond that point. Cheers hungry6

S13 Rb26 Help For 600whp Project!
hungry6 replied to GreeceS13's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
A car like that would simply be a money pit, as a street car, well s13 with rb26 without heavily mod suspension will drive like a PIG.. cheaper to run a solid sr20det. 10s are already achieved with this motor. Built rb26 is abit overkill for the weight of the car and HP it will produce plus the $$$ it will require to maintain it. But it would make a good talking point. No one has mention, how are you going to stop this beast once it's well into it stride. -
Rb26 Sump Wats Needed To Be Modified To Fit Gts-t Body
hungry6 replied to skylinekid's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
When you put the Hi energy sump in the front section of it foul o the sway br, well on mine it did. Also the pick up of the rb26 in abit to the side and it would help the engine a fair bit if it was moved further back infront of the trap door. But I cant remember it hitting the x member. Im getting old and my memory is failing. next time I get near my car I will take foto of mod sway bar and sump. I have photos some amongst the pron, too many to go through and find it. As for rb26 sump and diff weight, just chuck it on a scale and find out.. weight is not somuch of an issue regarding street car, more so torque and power and skinnier mates. -
Rb26 Sump Wats Needed To Be Modified To Fit Gts-t Body
hungry6 replied to skylinekid's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The standard hi energy sump fouls the front sway bars, Also it help if you get a 10mm spring steel adapt plate in there.. If you're wanting to run a/c and P.S the pulley system on your rb25 should be swap over to rb26 including your harmonic.. or what ever it is call...temp. sensors has to be swap and a whole lot of other crap needs to be swap.... I got an extended hi-energy it holds 8.5lts and what ever the oil cooler holds. Almost forgot the most important part. extend your oil pick up to suit new sump. -
Capsicum spray is so "yesterday" They now have "Tazer" and shoot you in the man boobs and ask, "How much Power does your car put out?" On a serious note, I can see the professional legal system is going to "sideswipe" us, as in term of quickly scan the charge and GUILTY!! Next.. That is what I can see and it's a way of clearing out the sytem.

But he wasn speeding, So he is as safe as a house, according to the blurps!!!

I might be wrong, but I do get infos on Audi plenty early than the general public. I remembering quoting the new RS6 to be a V10biturbo, but I was refute at the time.
-
Yes.... and for the love of god, how the hell do you begine to draw comparision between a RS4 and a R8 ??????
-
You will not get a R8 drive. Audi/merc/ferrari/porsche and so on already established a curent and potential clientele list, and even if you are on that list and you are a "like" client then you may get a drive, even the general sale reps are not allowed to handle them, only senior management plus dedicated sale reps. I'm sure Audi OZ. has a pretty good idea of who could and would want one, and rolling up in a Boxster or an M3 isn't going to help.

The R32 was a massive step forward in terms of thinking and engineering, where as the R35 is more of the existing technology repackage. a car that comes out almost 20years later wanna be head and shoulder better than it exist forebear. I just find it frustrating that in the current performance climate where other makers are going light and smaller with similar or more performance and Nissan has come along with more performance with more weight. To me it isn't a forward step in thinking or engineering, But a car maker has to be profitable, that's the whole point of being in business.

Just to put thing in perspective, yes the GTR is abit of a let down after all the hype, it is no doubt a fast car, but after all that hype? and for the record, Nar I dont regretting cancelling my order. On another note, I was one of the people who bought the original R32 oz delivered one, yes,, since then I have owned and driven some notable car that has somewhat questionable tech. obviously they cost more, I would have been happy to see the GTR break $200k and brings a wad load of technology with it, but that is all history now.. Just to set the record, I'm currently drive a 2007 F430 Ferrari F1: Audi RS6: 375hp atw 05 WRX :572atw R33GTS with Rb26DET and a few other odd bits and pieces Previous car RS4,GT2,F355,R32,33,34GTR, just a few of my previous encounter, or do you want me to name more? Yes I know what I'm talking about. As or tech. The RS6 has a navigation system that operated on a back to base in the event of an accident and the airbags are deployed, it automatically calls 000 and give them your GPS co-ordinates, and it has a solar panel as a sunroof which charges your car and keep a fan going on hot day to reduce the interior temp down. I'm not sure of what hi tech the F430 carries, but it goes around crn plenty quick for a RWD

LOL!!!!! the more pre order they get the higher they're gonna with the exclusivity tax.. I'm glad I pulled out a few months ago. Honestly I was abit let down with the r35 being so heavy, no new tech, more of the same old stuff afer all this wait.. They could atleast made the front electric or build it from allum. or atleast spend some $$ try to reduce the weight. I think it a case of Nissan cashing in GTR badge. at those number we"re talking about full size euro luxo sedan weights for a purist sport car?

If the R35 GTR is on thw wrong side of 150K nissan will have a problem moving them, considering Audi will be releasing the all new V10 twin turbo RS6 with 450KW @ 1900kgs for the princely sum of 245-250K, and that pricing is already confirm.. So it will be interesting to see how far Nissan OZ is prepare to rip the general Oz motorist of. Yes I know ther is about 100k think resale, Lesser of a HOON image. As for DSG or Ferrari F1, once you driven a well sorted system, you will be thinking, never a H shift pattern again, Period!!!

Low Comp And Blue Smoke Only Sometimes?
hungry6 replied to femno's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Nar that shouldnt be the issue, but the porting is abit hrmmm, questionable. I would be inclining to say some sort of sealing issue with valves or minute crack in head, Im assuming this from the looks of the 'porting" works -
I didn't even know Brisbane had a nightlife scene, and from reading the above, I stand to be corrected.
-
Hrmmm, I think I might be running late, I'll swing past and if everyone is still there i'll pull in, if not, next time.
-
I might be a starter, but I'll have to be of early, need to get that beauty sleep in, as I really needs it. and where we're going would be good also. cheers wayne

Thinking Of Buying A Porsche Boxster
hungry6 replied to Smurf's topic in General Automotive Discussion

Comedian Eddie Griffin Smashes Ferrari Enzo
hungry6 replied to Al-R33's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Funny that all these comments regards "wank factors" Just from personal experience, the majority of the ppls who buy these car have gotten there wasn't by accidents. So until you have develope enough grey matters and earning a mid six figure plus salary and was in a position to lay it on the line. I highly doubted that you would be casting the same comments in regard to these cars. Yes they donot give you six or ten time the enjoyments of a gtr or some other grey import with "profesional backyard" tuning but do they have the heritage research and last of all resale as these super exotic commands. I'm not trying to be smart, far from it actually but have a look at this page http://search.carsguide.news.com.au/news/f...il&247SEO=N Last I looked a new F430 coupe was $425K with F1 box and a spyder was $445k. So what are porsche resale after you have driven out the door? or any other japanese car for that matter. -
I would be interested in a sunday gathering, it allows me to go offshore fishing in the morning and then come back and relax abit, also, I don't have to watch what I eat or drink due to work next day, as I have a NASTY boss.
