  1. Talkimg about breaking the ice!!!!!
  2. NOO, don't ban him.
  3. LNEMUP What got me pissed off, is that I realy don't care for the rediculous claims, but then starting up a new thread trying to flog of the items involved in the claims for exorbitant prices with a stated claim of "runs 10s" package. What a load of sh*t. Cause I believe in a fair trading system for all the members on SAU as we all had to work hard for our $$, and trying to conjur up a bullshit claim and then flogging of the ideas and unsubstatiate bits is WRONG!!!! I actually believe and seen the ppls posted here so far, have given you more than enough courtesy rope. So, stop the arrogant/aggresive attitude toward others and show them the courtesy that they have shown you. BTW please don't try and dare members on here to line you up, all I can say for a car that is barely and most probably hitting low 120s mph is not exactly a rocketship.
  4. I'll take an MacLaren F1. from that list, I'm not fussy, and easily pleased. and i'll donate all the other cars
  5. Why don't you mention to them to remove the spark plugs and stick a worm camera in there to have a look, without having to remove the head. This process have save me ten of thousand of dollars in pulling motor/heads off.
  6. I got Dunlop DO1J on my street car, they're dot rated and I have been quizz in the past by the officers of the law, just point it out to them, that's all. I think D01j comes in 3 compounds soft/super soft/ chewing gum. just get the soft/or medium, as the chewing gum one only last about 1500-2000k on the street and alot less on the track. Very nice tyres , with plenty of grip/warning.
  7. That's one weird dyno graph!!! After seeing that. Don't put it on the track until your second motor is built. But it's still intrigueing all the same. My interpretation of good HP is derive in the shortest possible time. with the biggest plateau of torque. That graph doesn't show any of those 2 attributes. I didn't want to rain down on anyone parade, but it's the truth.
  8. Please note all the items below are stock 6 x gtr injectors $250 6 x gtr rods $300 6 x gtr pistons $250 a sh*t loads of bits including turbo pipings wirring sensors and manifold, all for the princely sum of $50 ARC cold air box for r33 gtst $50 Stock r33 pipings also aftermarket pipes for FMIC $50 I just wanna all this gear begone!!! I'm in brisbane and Sorry I wont post as I work. so local pick up only
  9. Hrmm you say, BMW engines are great, I'm not so sure, as a previous owner of M3/M5. All I can say is from my limmitted knowledge, that BMW make nice engines that don't last or a better way to put it very fragile engines. I've always treated those car with kiddies glove, not for resale values, but for not wanting to walk empty highways. But you did pointed out one very good point, SMG is a joke and should be removed from all BMW and taken to the closest tip. BTW I love chris. Bangles work, he's just way- way out there that's all. poor fella.
  10. Seem, BMW has fallen on their own sword. They were arrogant in the way they created cars and have beat their chest in one of the biggest anti-turbo campaign. So I wonder what their sale pitch will be from now on.
  11. I saw that on the news just before and fell of my bike"excercise". LOL, WTF, "beattie" bleated on about getting the 1% hard nut. I find this is amusing as "hard nut" and so call hoon would take 1 day to work out where all the fix cameras are and avoid the areas, but the joe blo average mums and dad will be punish for driving in condition that they are comfortable with, althought "illegal" in the eyes of the "govt." people who have orchestrate legalised stealling Also notice how no public feedback was accumulated and not even a whisper of better driver education or better road. I'm counting the day until the next state election.
  12. I'm still astounded on the "150 odd time" on the dyno!!! If it lasted this long on the dyno, then there would be no question whether the engine would last. A modified GT35 can make those power comfortably, But I didn't see the "modified" word.
  13. Well from my experience. These are some of the things that stands out. please note Majority of: Oztralian are very obedian speed wise( bloody single minded money hungry Govt.) Oztralian are totally untrain and let loose on open roads Oztralian die at the wheels due to boredome ie. "Speed too low for expansive distance covered." Oztralian have absolute no idea of high speed manuovers due to lack of experience- refer to first point. Majority of Oztralian uses car as primary transport. Majority of Ozzie cars are museums pieces ADR are too stringents in every areas except safety.(we still yet to implement deccerleration figures) Aussies are mindless behind the wheels/but courteous when u break down Euros Euros slightly better than aussie in car manuovers. Euros don't die due to boredom on roads Euros cars fleet are generally newer. Euro roads are better. Euros get better drivers training supportted by massive motorsport program Majority of euros uses public transport as a primary form of transport Euro are down right rude/bad road manner/ but more skilled and least of all they're govt. isn't as hungry as ours and the Euros are passionate ppls and locals govt. would never get away with ours does. Those are just the fews I though of whilse on the dunny.
  14. I can see myself building a pretty lame territory.
  15. I would be interested in the rear wheels only, If you wants to sell them
  16. My problem is that the skyline only get driven hard. If I was going for fuel economy, I'll just drive the office prius, it get over 1000k/tank and take 500 metres to stop from 100k/hrs. Tyre are as hard as Steel. But if you have ongoing bad fuel eco, get a smoke test done and a good tune will fix all. but $500-750 in difference of fuel eco, buys alot of fuel. Oh wait I don't have to pay for mine.!!!
  17. Same here, as Erin, for a few dollars versus pushing the car or walking along the highway. I'll think I'll pay the extra money to be inside cruising along with the A/C on. But I'm lucky to get 300kay/tank
  18. I would say, not to sweat too much about it, as it wont change the outcome of the day, for simple offense like driving whilse suspended, isn't a big deal, you prolly get a junior prosecutor up there trying to sent you to jail, but it depends on the mood of the magistrate on the day, sometimes you get your license back and some time you end up walking for a fair while, but going to jail for driving whilse suspended is unheard of with our legal system and i beg to be proven wrong. ppls who get sent to the slammer for that very offense prolly has already had an illustrious driving record. ie. Dui on multiple occasion and stuff like that. So don't panic and just go on with your life as normal and don't be silly the next time. Get a pushy if you really have to.
  19. I'll try and come out on this one. What about places like near Sunnybank/Calamvale. Just a though.
  20. Cr*p, I was looking forward to a new diff. Ohwell, I have to wait for someone with another group buy. Anyway thanks for trying MICHAEL.
  21. I'm gonna wait for the "all new GTR" this (skyline) one doesn't really do it for me.
  22. Very nice car. You'll enjoy it for years to come. If you're the bread earner, you should be able to buy/enjoy what ever it is that you want to do or buy. You can always get and new g/f. but you can never live your life again. I'm going to hide from the females on this forum now(put flame jacket on)
  23. LOL, So in the said test, did they applied heat, to the sort of temperature range that a turbo motor expose the oil to. You might find the result will be very different. Nothing kills oil of faster than heat. Well, that what I was led to believe.
  24. What type of Enkei wheels are they?
