Ok thanks for everyone offer and advice, We've gotten on to someone else who is a "expert witness to these sort of traffic offense and have a track record for successful defense against the QPS in regards to similar matter. So it'll be interesting to see what they say. Also R33S2 I got onto Craig Smiley to day and he no longer represent members of the public, as he now hold a position with the Law Society and has to be impartial with day to day legal cases, but he did give some eye opening advice. part 2 of this saga will be later in this year.

He has a bit of time to sort out and form a defense with the right ppls, I was hoping someone might have similar experience and have come accross such expert. we'll probably appoint Craig Smiley as council, but he'll no ask us to hunt around for "other" expert that he has heard of or used in the past, it a matter of covering all areas of the legal mine field. Also, there maybe "Article Clerk/junior Sol." that roam these forum that may have come across such ppls in their works.

As the thread title says, I'm gathering informations, names and contacts for individuals/organisations who are qualify & expert in the field of radar and speed dectecting device ie. LIDAR this is QLD legislated related matter. Just a short decription of the event that took place we were driving in a 05 AMG CLS55 on Mt cootha RD and the rep decide to pulled in a gravel carpark heading up the MT. My brother took the driver seat and as soon as he departed the car park and was pulled up 85 metres up the road and his "alledged" speed was 70 in a 50 Zone. Funny thing was that my brother has even had the time to sink the boot in yetbeing in a totally strange car, so it's interesting that how the officer involved got such a reading. the total duration travel of the car on the bitumen section was no more than 20 odd meters. We did grill the officer involved on the side of the Rd regarding the distance travel and possible error of equipement used and the rest is history. So anyone that has information to individuals or organisation that can come forward in regards to the above matter to compile a defence would be appreciated. I keep everyone post on the outcome of this proceeding as there is no way he'll let it die and cop something that there were 3 other individuals whop can verify the whole incident an the "allegded" offense. Funny how ppls get the impression that a H pattern box is a real box, European love this box. It's the old school box in my book and it damn slow to boot, also resale of H pattern box on a Ferrari is some what about $50 000 less than you would pay for a F1 box, although as a new car option, it's only $25 000. Also Dave, Ferrari don't deal with privateer, unless you run a race team. I've looked into bringing one in from o/s. Too many problems. There is only 2 silver RS6 in Bris. As for the F430 , I ordered it with F1 transmission, and black/carbon fibre interior. I would buy a solid reliable medium size car, that isn't too hard on the pocket if you happens to ding it. But going out on a high HP and expensive to repair as a first car doesn't make sense at all. I think you parents are erring on the side of slow and safe, as most parent would. NEVER buy a cheap oconomy box things, as they're probably more dangerous then the car you want to buy, as they would lack brakes and many other active safety feature of a well engineered car.

Been poking around, the galardo, I drove it awhile back and it was impresive, it was so stiff in the body, that it made my skyline feels like a soft licorice in the sun. Nice car, but hideous depreciation. As for the record, I don't own a coffee shop, and the owner of that coffee shop is like 40 something on the list from a vague memory. Above all else, I think, cars like the F430 exist to promote hard working ppls to succeed, and I'm no different to most of the ppls here, as a matter of fact, quite a few of you have met me on cruises, even raced me in my skyline, lol. So just work harder and believe in yourself. Also dangerous daveo, no I'm not married, and no I'm not gay, some may say otherwise.

" Anyway the original order was placed in late 2003, I'm no. 22 on a list of about 60 odd ppls, lol. Anyway as dangerous daveo said I've already placed standing order for the new replacement F450 in 2009"supposedly" when I placed the order for the F430. Having owned past models, This is the first time a waiting period have blown out in numbers of year and not months. When ever it get here it wanna be really good. I'm hoping it is.

Long story short, I got devo, by my local "boutique" car dealer this arvo. I've been waiting for 14 months and was due to take deliver in the 3rd quarter of this year. So what happens, I got called to a meeting and was told that the waiting time has gone from 9 or so months left to over 3 YEARS from today. Aprarent the US is demanding more cars, so we pov ass Australians market loses out. F8cking Italians. I wish they were as efficient as some of the Japanese makers, where you can order a car and get it delivered with 6 months. I hope it get here before we runs out of fossil fuel.

I hate ppls who keys cars. Even my 4x4 got keyed by some boatie on the bonnet it say, " This is boatie grounds, So F*UCK OFF" I ride a jetski. LOL it make me laugh sometime, but it still a crime

I can't believe, these are still for sale, obviouly ppls are more into the bling thing , than performance. Possibly one of the best wheels for track works. Without spending huge dollars.

All I can say, is that only race him from a standing start and you should be fine, DONOT race him rolling, ie from about 60ish, and you'll find out, what the Merc. engineers are good at, "Fast straight line tuners" and the Merc, gets faster as speed rises. It's the natural evolution of new car engineering and aero.

I think the rumours are put out there to stem the tide of deposits(orders) refunds for the upcoming GTR. I'm about to go out and murder some little local pr*cks. My holiday/ fishing vehicle (2005 hilux SR dual cab) loaded up with expensive fishing gear and hunting equipements was half packed for Friday and I did the cardinal sin, by taking it to work to get tinting done. Well the little bastards smashed the driver side window and mangle the rear right door trying to openin the ute up, in the process they threw a brick through the window so hard that it smashed the centre console and destroyed the door trim on the otherside. The police didn't even wanted to know about it after I waited for nearly 2 hrs at the local cop shop. Now I finished my rant, anyone see any young kids running around with VERY expesive binnoculars/scope please contact me,a big reward is offered.
