  5. Actually the first thing you should do is attach a consult cable and read any fault codes.
  6. Nope mine starts first crank whist still priming, I don't think there is a pressure switch in the fuel line, probably just a computer timed event. If you can find someone in your area how has a gtr or HCR32 or series one 33 then you can try swapping the CAS. thats what I'd try first.
  7. What I can't understand is how crap is kimi, is his back playing up or has he lost his nerve, if he gets his arse kicked by vettel, it will be his last year in F1. I don't know maybe he lucked into the 2007 title, and has always been an average driver?

  12. Correct, but who wouldn't rather cut off the 33 actuator from the bracket, then drill two holes for the new actuator to bolt up to, and retain the stock heat shield
  13. Do I increase power, response and efficiency, or should I reduce mass, and increase reliability, and traction? My money is on the later. Guess I'm a flat white type of guy
  14. ...at least i have learned a little about welding. but how much should I spend on imperfect welding my manifold, per hill climb? Should I build with 303 0r 316 SS? Does the cost of wrapping and proper ceramic coating, give me any realistic chance of improving my placing than some other competitor, who has thrown out their back seat..?

  17. Not ID1000's but Bosch EV14s http://www.deatschwerks.com/products/fuel-injectors/sport-compact/nissan/skyline/rb20det/1989-94-rb20det Had them in for 12 months, drop in fit, no problems at all, few of my mates have commented how nice my cars idle is.
  18. Wanting a waste gate actuator and bracket, condition unimportant as I'm actually after the mounting bracket so I can mount a adjustable actuator and retain the stock heat shield. Cheers Mike.
  19. Yup totally agreed that that the energy not transmitted through the pipe work (pre turbo) has to to be used spinning the turbine, and increasing efficiency.
  20. Apart from stopping you fiberglass bonnet delaminating, does all the wraps and ceramic coat help make any extra kilowatts and is the extra weight added offset by said extra power?
  21. But does the price difference actually match the temperature difference? I considered a professional job, but decided my money was better spent elsewhere.
  22. I ended up doing it myself because I'm a cheap bastard, though to be honest it was done primarily to tidy up my rusty heat shields and dump pipe, more than to achieve any reduction in engine bay temperatures. 2 cans of VHT Flame Proof Silica Ceramic Coat + 1 can of the same in Primer....
