  1. One more tip, if you buy a second hand caliper, only take it off a wrecked car with a hard pedal, once the caliper is off the car, moisture will be drawn in via the fluid as it's hygroscopic, i.e sucks in water from the air, which can corrode the bore of the caliper or the steel piston.
  2. If I were you, I would do it myself, and spend the cash on hookers and coke.
  3. Its pretty obvious when a company is going down the shit shute, Pete is just one percent of their business. don't give them any more money, if the problems do not get sorted, seek legal advice???? be methodical and not emotional!
  4. Also, get underneath and check for leaks between the master cylinder and vacuum booster, if there is a leak there you will see drips bubbled paint and possibly rust.
  5. Did you try Amayama.com ? some times their price are a little cheaper than Nissan Australia's
  6. Stao, how many rb20 hiflows and atr43ss1.5 do sell a year? I bought one of your hiflow second hand and it is a bit laggy, but if you go ahead and develop something really fast spooling for an rb20 I would be interested.
  7. Timing belt idler or, tensioner bearings, but obviously check all belts running off the harmonic balance first.
  8. 15v is high, regulator issue?
  9. I'm just gutted, Dan has a shit car as well as Alonso. [/]
  10. what rpm are the hydraulic lifters good for?
  11. Both RBR cars lapped....again
  12. is it a good idea...
  13. Bernie... Whoe has the best idea
  14. so its not a resto or a track car but your daily?
  15. I asked this question to a relative who's been living in Japan for 15 years, he said there wasn't that much difference in cost between 2.0 and 2.5L vehicles.
  16. Everything is a compromise, cam gears are cheap and if you're not sure of their quality you can supply new fasteners of known strength, what's your budget for this gtst?
  17. I dont think it matters, stock are cheap enough to buy new regularly, inconel will last longer... I had to modify a ring spanner to fit my dump pipe. I don't think that spanner would work too well with a stud and nut. I also have a special spanner for the ex-manifold to turbo flange. finding a tool that works is difficult.
  18. depends on your dump and tools, stick to stock setup unless you have reason not too
  19. the stock dump has just enough room for tools, but some aftermarket dumps are more compromised
  20. .........................!
  21. Turbo to dump bolt x4 Nissan p/n 14434 V 0301 amayama Japan $6 each Turbo to dump stud x2 Nissan p/n 1441417 F 00 amayama Japan $6 each Turbo to dump nut x2 Nissan p/n 1441417 F 00 amayama Japan $3.50 each RB Turbo Gasket Kit x1 Nissan p/n 1440172 L 26 amayama Japan $55 each RB 20/5 Exhaust Gasket x1 Nissan p/n 1403621 U 00 amayama Japan $70 each RB 20/5 Exhaust Stud / Yoke Kit x1 Nissan p/n ????? Kudos Motorsports Australia $88 each Don't even ask what Nissan AU want for that lot, but you can save by going to a specialized bolt shop, do your own research as to what sizes you need, ex stud and yoke kit from kudos MS is a good deal and something that should be replaced if the manifold comes off.
  22. See if you can find someone on these forums who can take you for a drive with a RB20 Hiflow, before you decide on turbo, what ever you do listen to Roy and Stao, their advice could save you a lot of money. Personally I think you're worried too much about lag, the cheap option is usually the right option with a RB20 200-220rwkw you just might squeeze that out of the stock injectors and AFM
  23. You wouldn't be the first to try and eat their cake too... So what supporting mods do you have?
