Diy Miks R32 Gtst

Soldered broken joints in the window relay, while i swapped the door trim to one that isnt chopped. Fixed my other trims, no sign of chopping out for a window net anymore. ( window net was a stupid idea without a rollcage ) Put in a smaller intercooler, the big one was not helping with power, it just blocks air to the radiator. A piece of corflute to block the last gap. I got another pair of seats that have tighter rails than mine, but some bits are worse, i will make one good pair from it all. Fender braces and a new oil temp gauge coming soon..... -
When i was younger, and fitter, i worked as a painter. We did a highrise in the city. My personal record was 2x 20l drums (40-50kg, paint is heavy) running up 9 floors. Now im lazy as sht, and would probly have a heart attack running 100m.

A few months ago, i saw a couple of young guys at Mugga lane revolve buying a heap of plant pots, just about the size you can see in the photo. I did warn them that many pots could be trouble legally, actually i thought " no one would be that stupid would they?"...... http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-news/police-find-more-than-80-cannabis-plants-in-calwell-backyard-20150220-13kmju.html Fools.

Battery in the boot needs to be in a secure box, bolted down with a battery clamp and a strap or clamp on the lid and vented to outside. So seal the box and have a hose, or have the hose off the battery vent and dont seal the box. The guy at the battery shop told me that. They do extra batteries in 4wds a lot. Make it work well, use 0 gauge cable ( can get at battery world fyshwick), and gold plated terminals, Jaycar and Elite car stereo have these. Remember you need a big terminal block for the engine bay side, like http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=HC4020 They used to have a 0 guage one too. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/430316-diy-miks-r32-gtst/#

***first Unofficial Cruise 2015***

Thanks again for driving Rob. We enjoyed it very much. 9 cars was a decent turnout for Canberra! That dam reminds me of 30s art deco. http://gutenberger.ro/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/metropolis-full-poster.jpg -
I used to read all the ADRs, but cant seem to find them these days. Anyway as far as i know you dont need any engineering for any of that. R32 came out with rb25 in rare models, and coilovers are ok as long as they arent adjustable. Fibreglass or carbon panels are not ok, racetrack only. Intercooler, dont cut the front reo and its ok. Braided lines, get HEL and get the option where they put the ADR printed on the hoses and they pass. Might want to check if those rules still apply. I should have done a return flow intercooler, and not so big. Any suspension part with rose joints are sht, dont last, and wont pass adr anyway. Split dump was a pain and a waste of time, bellmouth is better. Return line fuel cooler, cheap, easy and eliminates many problems. Deatchwerks fuel pump was a bolt in, so easy. Same with injectors. Vinyl wrap and acrylic paint are sht. wont last. Oil cooler with a thermostat is good, but it doesnt have to be big, a small one will do fine. Thermostat is important. A good diff centre is great, old 32 diffs are all fked. A hard induction pipe so it doesnt suck closed, and an insulated cold air box. So it stays cold. I think front bracing is good, it needs it, and rear bracing is not needed. its stiff enough at the rear. Keep the rear soft for traction. Keep the heater if you lose the aircon, you need a demister for adr and an eletcric one like mine is soooo sht. Battery in the boot frees up room for other stuff in the engine bay. Most of all: Plan carefully in the engine bay, or it wont fit. Doing it all once is better than over and over trying to fit more sht in there.

Thanks.

Help I made a mistake it think. I have an rb 20 with a huge intercooler and 180kw. I bought a tiny one to swap it over as im thinking it will have less lag. But i think it might be too small. Would this flow enough for 180kw? http://justjap.com/engine/forced-induction/intercoolers/cooling-pro-bar-and-plate-intercooler-550-x-140-x-65-2-5-inch-outlets.html At least they are cheap and i can buy another.

***first Unofficial Cruise 2015***

Yeah, Rob is going to drive my 32. Brake pads replaced, good wheels on, interior trims fixed, vacuumed, and washed. I just gave it a polish, it had lost a lot of gloss. Wax tomorrow, and its ready to go. You cant really predict the weather, even if its raining on this side of town it could be fine for the cruise. -
Dunno about the reo, but you usually have to trim a little from the bottom of the bar opening to get it to fit. I dont think it will limit power unless you have a big turbo. If the air flows trough it as easily as the piping, its not a restriction. Remember the job of the intercooler is to cool the intake air enough so you dont get pinging. So i guess it depends on what you want from the Nistune and tune. Maybe an r34 sidemount would be good. China front pipe? So what, as long as its big enough and dont leak, its just an exhaust pipe. Looks like a good 32 you have there.

Canberra times, so wrong but so funny..... http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-news/bail-refused-for-trespassing-masturbator-20150207-138h83.html Police arrested the defendant on Friday after they received a forensic biology report confirming the defendant's DNA on the items in the rear yard. oooh thats so gross....

Went down to belco for some things, on the Ratfink, on the way home i caught the edge of my shoe on the chainguard and bent it. Im sure its alloy as i put a thumbprint in it trying to straighten it out. No luck, its rippled now. Its a pretty nuts bike, its so long, i have to dismount for gutters or it will bottom out on the front sprocket. Its so low i have to be careful with the pedals or they bottom out around corners.

The 5 million year old lake. Aboriginals believe there is some real bad sht there. People have drowned, then they never find the bodies. And tiger snakes everywhere.
