  1. Sorry to hear Pete. Just get a bigger turbo and you won't have a problem next time around.
  2. So what's the mod? I searched but couldn't find anything. If you cant be bothered explaining, just point me to a link. Thanks
  3. I think the general consensus due to using diesel turbos in the early days is that they have a limited life at higher temps in petrol engines. That's all we had in the 90s. Just interesting to see how the turbine will cope even though the bearings are water cooled. However obviously yours is not a run of the mill diesel turbo so would be awesome to see your results. Looking forward to it.
  4. -5 Turbos $1300 Custom front pipe $350 Bargin. Make an offer.
  5. Just to share experience. A mate of mine had a similar issue and it ended up being a timing issue because he bashed the limiter a few times and the cas armature that connects to the cam had some slop in it and was changing the timing a few degrees. Gtr though.
  6. Just off the top of my head, you would probably need to run a circuit from your wheel speed sensor circuit to your pump/ controller. Or some setup from the G sensor signal or both. But aren't you using a manual override anyway?
  7. No because people actually know it is not good and that users just try to justify their own stupidity with pathetic illogical arguments. If it wasn't for all you dickwad users then there wouldn't be a demand, so then there wouldn't be a supplier, and therefore there wouldn't be an industry. You guys have got you head so far up your arses that if you had any regard for the good of the society you live in then you wouldn't use. The fact is that you are so self serving, self centred morons that when you have kids and they f**k themselves up you will the first to lay blame on society. Fact is you are to blame for the next generation of users. And it doesn't matter if you use once a month or once an hour you are all morons and are all to blame.
  8. Because you are morons.
  9. Nah people that don't do drugs consider people that do as dickheads, nothing to do with being closed minded.
  10. Nope, what you said. N1s, dumps, cam gears and tune.
  11. I went to a kindergarten and asked the kids if they think drugs are good. They answered no. Guess what they are right. Don't need a Google search or peer review to make sense of that.
  12. Doesn't seem a real advantage for the effort when -5s get pretty close to 600hp on e85 without all the possible negatives that people have mentioned. And the other point being that gtx tech really only outperform the GTs at higher boost levels so then again what's the point.
  13. If you haven't already discovered it, another great read is Aki's blog. It has good enthusiast info from a lot of Japanese articles, sources and resources, and discusses all the skyline GTR models. http://www.r33gt-r.com/

  18. Selling my twin setup. Engine always maintained, oil and filter change every 5000km with Penrite 15W50 diesel, so turbo bearings perfectly clean. Street driven, daily driver with the monthly mountain runs. Never tracked and oil temperature always sat at about 75 degrees never exceeded 90 degrees. Ran the turbos at 26 psi for a short time but at 23psi for 95% of their lives. Setup was designed to maximise response with free flowing dumps and front pipe. Done about 60000 kms Location: Melbourne Prices: Negotiable, sensible offers will be considered Contact me via pm. Thanks. TURBOS 2 x Garrett 2860 -5 Heavy duty actuators Perfect condition No shaft play. The rear was rebuilt at 30000km due to oil line issue. Price: $1500 TOMEI DUMP PIPES Old style with larger diameter 73mm compared to the newer 68mm from memory. Highly sort after. Flanges and welds in perfect condition Price: $600 FRONT PIPE Very well made mild steel front pipe Custom 3.5 inch collector with 3 bolt flange. A bung is on the collector to run a Bosch wideband O2 sensor. Modifications were made to assist response and eliminate the 3 inch restriction on most other front pipes. Will bolt straight to factory position but you will need to weld a 3 bolt flange to your cat back. I have heat wrap on them at the moment but quite happy to take it off and spray them black for the buyer. Price: $500
  19. Only if the dyno x axis is in wheel speed instead of rpm as the graph would shift to the left. Not sure if it would be significant if reading rpm but you are right, it must make a difference.
