A properly set up turbo, with the right gate piping WILL perform. I work in mechanical engineering, dealing with turbo applications everyday. A fellow enigneer I know has a Turbonetics T4/T5 Race hybrid setup on a 4 cylinder (square engine - only info & clue I will disclose, as it is street registered & driven fairly angrily every weekend) that is internally gated, & made 463rwkw @ 17psi on his last tune. It flowed 1,231CFM @ 8,500rpm. Boost comes on at 3,000rpm. Cannot give any further info as he is super secretive & will KILL me if he finds this post, which he won't cause he's not on here.....................

AHA! Hit the nail on the head for another reason of slippage or jumping teeth. I spent just over ten years in the automotive industry/engineering, & there are 3 "general" designs of tooth profile that manufacturers use. Miss match teeth & sprockets & whammo! Stick with OEM & a good parts interpreter (unlike a saturday nissan guy who ordered the wrong consol part & tried to sell me diesel oil for a Stagea & Cube!!!!), check your profiles before installation & you cant go wrong!

Hey everyone. Does anyone know for sure if there is a difference between R34 GTT manual & S2 C34 RS4S ECU wiring harnesses? Basically I have an Apexi Multichecker form my R32 days that I want to wire into my Stagea. Heaps of models are listed except for the C34. Any help or leads in the right direction would be appreciated!

Nah it was a J. Was 2/3rds of the way through last year. As for the k's on the clock, replacement clusters are easy to get. I came across quite afew with 50-60k on the clock when I was looking. Sales people get alittle cagey when out comes the 10mm 1/4 drive socket & ratchet to whip off the engine cover, only to discover "HEY PRESTO" theres a timing belt sticker with 101,487kms in 2007!!!! I just left the cover off, turned & walked away.........SEVEN TIMES!!!!!!! But don't let that deterr you, there's PLENTY of good genuine cars out there, you just have to know how to find them!!!!!!!!!

AVOID ******* LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! I went looking afew times, told them what I was after, & even the possiblity of them selling two, yes (2) cars, wouldn't sway them to be upfront with me. I was lied to for nearly two months buy a salesman there who funnily enough had the same name that a prominent person & his siblings are accused of trying to get rid of. I gave up & ended up buying from Sam at Mastercars in Blacktown & another dealer in QLD. I Never went to look at Northshore, so I cannot comment. The only thing I can STRONGLY recommend before signing on the dotted line, is ask to look at the paperwork from the auction house in Japan. This will show you the grade (quality, 1-5, 1&2 is shit-major accident repaired, 3 is very minor repair, stone chips small dents & good quality, 4 is minor stone chips/dents & above average condition, 5 is perfect, factory, no damage). Kilometres on the clock, rust, owners handbook, extra keys, & very importantly where in Japan it came from (avoid cars from snowy areas 'cause of rust). If all is legit, they will have no problem showing you...............

Manuals ONLY came with a blank plate (which im chasing to no end!!!!!) Autos had the in dash cup holders, which im also chasing to fill the hole in my dash to no end!!!!!!!

Jap dismantlers & importers. Have been afew on Ebay lately. You haven't said whether its manual or auto. Manuals has LSD centres.

Went to Nagoya a couple of times over the last two years.....had nothing but CRAP service, & got the impression they weren't too interested in helping me, even when I said I will buy two cars!!! Was constantly lied to & strung along by John Macris about an RS FOUR S they had on the boat, then sitting on the docks, then a month after he promised it would be in the yard & he'd call me, still no car or call.........got another cock'n bull story. Master Cars at Blacktown were a great help, I'd recommend them to anyone in terms of personalized service!!!!!!!

They're 1 serious brick! Vince Harmon ( Volvo specialist) has one with a 350 Chev outside his workshop in Mitchell A.C.T. nearly everyday, he's a serious Volvo freak!!!
