  1. Parts for sale from r34 gtt after upgrading. Prices are Negotiable. 1. Garrett GT3071R TURBO $700 Was in perfect working order when removed, no shaft play. When taking photos i realised there is a crack in the rear housing which i never realised while driving? :\ No shaft play, just needs rear housing 2. Apexi Power FC to suit R34 GTT - $1000 With hand controller, boost controller, and Boost sensor Great working order 3. Z32 AFM + Apexi Power intake filter $100 Afm has one side of the wire removed. Filter is in new condition.
  2. I flushed some water down there and water came out the turbo coolant supply so I hope it doesn't block that up
  3. Yep flushing with water is my next step, tried to avoid it since half the motor is pulled apart. Only other way I can think of is pulling the head off
  4. So while working on my r34gtt I had the intake manifold and runners off, I had rags in the intake ports in the head but nothing in the cooling jacket. I was stripping some wire when a piece of rubber insulation maybe 5mm wide and 10mm long fell into the head, the water port between cylinder 1 and 2 .. After a few failed attempts to remove it, it can't even be seen now. It felt like it was going great downwards towards the thermostat but even last ditch attempt at blowing compressed air down there hasn't made it reappear. How harmful could this be? I figure worst case it damage to water pump or block up a small water gallery. Waterpump and thermostat are removed BTW

  6. Hi, Where could i find either genbuine or replacement cooland hoses pictured. R34 Gtt Rb25det Neo Heat exchanger/oil cooler &number 6 goes from back of head to behind runners
  7. Oh k, but even with the correct bolts the sensor still protrudes and requires the cover to be cut?

  9. Ahh makes more sense cheers, yep the plan was to get them cleaned and flow tested, just thought it might not be worth it if they weren't any good,
  10. hi, trying to figure out what my injectors are, all the have on the is denso 3500 3 have "932" on them and 3 have "931" why are the numbers different? would these injectors be able to safely flow enough for 350rwkw when also using water/meth injection? i have heard the terms side feed/top feed heaps but only just really looked at what it means (pretty self explanetary huh) so from what i understand these are top feed, but i removed them from what i believed was the standard fuel rail, but i didnt think it was possible to have top feed injectors on a standard fuel rail :s i also have a plazmaman fuel rail designed for top feed injuectors, so will this work with my current injectors?
  11. just after some clarrification on this, why are the countersunk bolts required for the trigger wheel?i understand how they could give more clearance to the timing cover but what do you mean by break the plane? the plane of the timing cover? and the cover would definitely need to be cut to clear the sensor? if thats the case i hope there is a work around.. has anybody got this fully fitted up and functioning?
  12. im also chasing a heater hose kit for r34 gtt rb25det neo. i can only find gtr or gtst and i think they could be a bit different. mainly after the hoses at the back of the engine and the hoses on the heat exchanger
  13. I think I am going to remove the 2 hoses from the intake runner ( yellow,yellow and yellow,blue). When a greddy or similar ffp is used those hoses wouldn't exist so removing them shouldn't cause any ill effect? I'm also looking for a heater hose kit to replace all the moulded hoses, but can't find one for r34 gtt, some of the hoses in other kits look similar but there are still some hoses that I cannot identify

Hi, Doin a bit of a build on my r34 gtt and trying to sort out the water hoses, I installed a plazmaman manifold a while ago and want to make sure all the coolant hoses look right and none of the coolant will become stagnant. Are any of the coolant hoses unneeded? i am trying to clean up the engine bay as much as possible. Hopefully everything should be understandable from the pictures. Also wondering what is done with the factory engine oil cooler when an aftermarket external one is fitted? Can anything be done about the factory IAC/AAC when using a haltec platinum pro? IAC System Full system
  15. trying to tidy up some wiring and unused components in my engine bay while its all apart. got these 4 sensors going directly to the intake manifold on my r34 gtt. can somebody please explain the function of each? im assuming there is 1 for boost gauge, 1 for apexi pfc boost controller and 1 for ecu reference, what is the other one? i am replacing the standard boost gauge so would like to remove the old sensor & plug. also getting the apexi replaced with haltec platinum pro so will the haltec utilize the wiring ran for the pfc or can i remove/hide that?

  18. Engine has 100,000 km on it. Didn't really have any problems just thought I should do them while in there. I was going to get a valve/ port job but it was quickly dismissed as a waste of $$ at my goals ~350rwkw on 98
  19. When replacing the headbolts I with arp items am I able to replace 1 bolt at a time as not to disturb head gasket or will I have to replace the headgasket? I'm also replacing vale stem seals and valve springs so would I be better to just remove the head?
  20. How many trigger points would people recommend when running Haltec platinum pro?
  21. But if you've got the second map for backup/fail safe then why not have the option of switching to it when you please
