  1. With a Haltec platinum pro would it be possible to switch between 1 map with certain boost and timing settings and another map with higher boost/more timing that also activates water/meth? So you wouldn't have to constantly be using up water/meth and running the higher power map
  2. After some consideration... Recommendations for water/meth systems ?
  3. Apparently stored correctly in a 44 drum it would be good for 3 months max, not sure I would go through it that fast especially considering the car only comes out to leave town and It wouldn't make it to the next servo selling e85
  4. The closest place to get ethanol is 350km away, if they don't have it then it's 800km.. I would buy it by the drum but have heard it's got very short shelf life
  5. Reading this is what got me excited for a head job http://www.lewisengines.com.au/rb-tech/ Would it be worth doing anything to the head at 100,000 km? Where else would my money be better invested then?
  6. I wouldn't attempt to do it myself, anybody can operate a did grinder but I know there is a lot more in it than that.. What workshops would come recommended for some light head work?
  7. My setup will already include a hta fp 3076 and tomei pon cams.. Unfortunately e85 isn't an option for me but I haven't ruled out a shot of gas ?
  8. Hi, I am doing a round of modifications to my r34 gtt rb25 neo that is basically copying a setup that should make ~330 RWKW on 98 Is there much to be had at this level from getting the head ported? The engine has 100,000 km on it so could be due for a freshen up top, I was planning on doing stem seals since I am replacing cams and springs anyway but was going to leave the head on, but this would be a good time to pull the head off and get it ported if the gains made it worthwhile and install some arp head studs. I read on the 'Lewis engines' website and it seems like a worthwhile upgrade, is there any machining shops that would come recommended by SAU members?
  9. I ended up getting 'performance' springs, haven't installed them yet tho.. Isn't a big name brand but haven't heard anything bad about them plus aussie made so should be sufficient. Because I have to travel ~ 2000km return to a tuner, why not do it right the first time
  10. Thread revival! What about link g4? What is the difference between the g4 and g4 + ?
  11. Would you be interested in making a bracket and trigger wheels for cam only setup?
  12. I can't recall having coolant flowing through my plazmaman manifold? Unless you are referring to iac
  13. $850 seats $950 seats and rails They are seats pictured NOT bride gradient text, must have had it on my mind when typing
  14. And I'm hoping somebody can comment on any intake temp changes using the mace insulating spacer

  16. How would you go about a cam only Hall effects trigger? That sounds like the cheaper/easier alternative if it is the optical sensor that is the problem and not the absence of a crank sensor

  18. I am about to remove my plazmaman anyway and considering installing a mace spacer, but is it possible it might make the runners 'too long' and have some negative implications? Or did you decide an extra 6mm even on the standard runners wouldn't be enough for the 'bum dyno'
  19. I have so decided to install the type B's in my NEO. The only bad reviews I have got are from people that haven't tried them in a neo
  20. Still unsure if I should go the tomei 252, stay standard or if there is a better option? What if I was to go custom grind? Maybe around 240 and still 9.15 lift.. Still a bit larger than the 236/232 8.4/6.9mm standard
