  1. Hi, I have a R34 GTT, when i bought it i only got a metal key, no fob or transponder. The car has central locking, and from what i have found it would have had keyless entry from factory but now has no remote. Is this correct? Would it also have had a factory alarm? Before i found out this information i went out and spends a few hundred on a viper 5704 alarm http://www.vipersecurity.com.au/products/security-with-remote-start/viper-5704-responder-lc3-supercode-sst-2-way-security-and-remote-start-syst but discussing it with somebody whos knowledge i trust, they are recommending i get the factory transponder, and fit a hidden kill switch if i want the piece of mind. How would i go about getting a factory Fob and programed? is there any more attractive keys available? or flip keys with fob? cheers

  3. Yeah that was my logic, but it seems to do it more under light/medium throttle than when you jump off heavy throttle.. Either way I'll be getting a leak test done with my tune
  4. How about switching from recirculating BOV to atom? Just changed my intake plenum and at the same time changed my BOV from hybrid to atom, now when I jump off throttle the revs drop below idle and sometimes stalls. Tossing up between BOV or vacuum leak. (Sorry for thread hijack)

  7. Interesting.. Just from what i had seen it is set to 0 degrees while tuning with poncams anyway.. Relocation kit - SOLD and im now keeping cam gear

  9. I was under the impression that it is always left to 0' when using the poncams? Either way it is Exhaust, If i still have it when i install the poncams it will be going on anyway

  13. O2 voltage changes when hot, Where can i find a 3.6v feed? I tried searching but all the threads are old with broken links.
  14. Cheers for the reply mate, Sorry i didn't clarify, It has been started and is running, the 0.00V from the o2 was at cold idle.

Hi, I have just finished installing a plazmaman ffp to my R34 GTT, As soon as i turn the key the 'Check Engine' Light comes on, with the 'Slip' and 'TCC Off' Coming on a second later, Im guessing those 2 are normal considering i used a plazmaman throttle body so no more traction control, however is it normal for these to trigger the 'Check Engine' Light? I Also have the Hicas light on due to removing the hicas system. Is there anyway i can check these error codes as i have a apexi power FC installed. I have gone to the 'Check Sensor' Page on the PFC and 'THRO' is highlighted, and the O2 Sensor has 0.00V Can anybody shed some light on this? Cheers EDIT: Just found that THRO is throttle so im going to assume i didn't correctly set up my TPS, what is the voltage meant to be for closed and WOT?

Hi, Go a Tomei Adjustable cam gear, Brand new still unopened, (Fit rb 20, 25 & 26) Decided to go with poncams so this is apparently useless. $130 Posted Grex/Greddy Oil filter relocation kit - Also Brand new Never fitted Oriinal position isnt 'that' bad with plazmaman $220 Posted Will try to get pictures in following days

Thankyou for the reply 1) Could you tell me why running a line from intake pipe to boost controller that also T's onto power steering would affect boost control? 3) Ok, i still dont really understand that, while setting up for the plazmaman i realized i have Map sensor and Boost sensor running to the manifold. As well as the 3rd that you say is likely for boost gauge 4) True there is a provision for it, but i will be getting a tune after the install anyway so if i could remove it and tidy the engine bay with no ill effects why wouldnt i?
  18. oops picture added, Also thought of another Question, Why do i Have a MAP sensor, Boost sensor and AFM? Also how hard is it for a tuner to tune around IAC? so i could remove the iac from the new manifold and blank it off

Hey, I am trying to clean my 34 GTT engine by up some while installing a plazmaman, There is a vacuum line going from intake manifold into steel tube across front of engine to the powersteering valve?/Sensor? Would it be ok to move this from manifold to charge pipe and T off the power steering hose to the Apex Boost controller? Or would this somehow have an ill effect on boost control? Also is it normal for the second hose on the powersteering to be plugged? Cheers

Re-reading over some of this, im going to be performing the 100,000k service soon so if i could pick up a set of type B cams for under 800 doesn't sound too bad as long as it isnt going to negatively affect my power curve. Was also going to chuck in an adjustable EX cam gear while doing timing belt, although i have read mixed results. (But at ~$200 cant really complain at the gamble as long as it doesn't go backwards)
  22. Cheers for all the replies, If more peak power is going to require a larger setup is there anything else i can add to my current set-up to have it come on earlier? I should say that the 290Rwkw was made on the highest boost setting of 1.45Bar which i rarely run it at, and i only haven't done my own power run yet so i cant comment on how legit the dyno sheets supplied with the car are, i just feel like it needs more
