hahaha great jayce, laughed very very muchly!!! Terminal, your probably just a ******runs out of room and hides in bushes hoping he doesnt come looking for me* lol j/ks, i'd love a to know some sort of matial art, enough to be able to defend myself against an angry, big, tongan or something. you have to warn people who are starting trouble, 3 times before you can touch them correct? and im guessing your photo and details are listed with the AFP?

LL cool J in deep blue sea: as i walk through the valley of death, i shall fear no evil, for i am the baddest otherfu**er in the valley and i carry an AXE!!! lol im more on ewans side here though, who cares if a fu**er pays you out, have a laugh about it.....make a thread about it, and remind yourself how pathetic they are. but if worst comes to worst be prepared to protect yourself, hence the 7iron that now resides in my boot. for those of you that know me, you'll know most guys are a bit taller than me, and i wouldnt really intimidate them, but i guess if it came down to it and they were my size, i'd have no problems dropping them, but its treally not me anyway, i'd rather let them think they scared me and let it go.

I think i just found a mines ECU
Veilside R33 replied to Veilside R33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
boo5t anyone? -
hey all, well i'll give you the run down, for starters, i bought my R33 gtst in feb and one of the mods that was mentioned it had was a mines "chip" i thought nothing of it, didnt know what it was and just assumed it was a chip in the standard ecu. anyway ive since been told by several people they have no idea that we could put chips in our cars, so i thought i would investigate......... i just pulled off my passenger kick panel and this is what i found, it seems like a complete mines ECU. i dont know heaps about computers etc so i have no idea if im correct of not, so here are some pics, and hopefully you can tell me exactly what it is. http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36087920 http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36087931 http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36088054 http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36088057 http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36088058 http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36088056 http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36088055 now in the bottom 2 pics you will see a black wire with a nearly full circle clip on it, (obvioulsy an earth) and to its left, a nut that it would have originally been earthed to, but it has either been taken off or woked its way loose over time. i reconnected it, but nothing has changed, there is no diff in the cars behavious/idle etc. so if it is a complete ECU is it connected? the car isnt very fast(compared to others) i thought if i had a mines ECU it would be far quicker. perhaps its not tuned at all? if it is a complete unit, and its not connected, if i connect it, will i be able to get the car performing better/faster? any thoughts and insights would be greatly appreciated, thanks once again guys, Andrew.

it was my understanding that its very hard to register a vehicle in NSW anyway, as you will need to get a blueslip, and aparently thats a nightmare. -
spotted k_dawg_boostin about 150 metres from my house this afternoon at about 4, i couldnt beleive my eyes, just turned the corner out of my street and there it was parked on the side of the road. and another friends white R33 down at work, which is very nice.

just a quick one that happened half an hour ago that has still get me wondering. i was driving from work after i finished(woden) just accross to philip to get petrol before i went home. i was sitting at the lights opposite john mcgrath ford facing bp/shell, and i was the second car from the front in the left lane, behind an old mercedes. lights went green and i took off slowly, behind this merc (it crawled off the lights) and cars were even passing me in the other lanes as this guy was so slow, so i had just put it into second after crossing the intersection, when i heard yelling, from my right, i looked accross and a 2000 beige commodore with chromies with 3youngish guys (early 20's) were pulling along side me, and the dude in the passenger seat was screaming at me... YOUR A FU**WIT!!! as they pulled next to me i was wondering what the hell was going, and this bogan screamed again, YOUR SO MAAD NICE CAR, (sarcastically) and they were all giving me huge greasys and threatening me. i mean i did absolutely nothing, and these randoms start abusing me and my car, for absolutely no good reason whatsoever WTF!!!??? i couldnt really do anything about it i turned into bp almost immediatly, very very confused.

The Wrath Dickson Motor Registry
Veilside R33 replied to GeeTR's topic in Australian Capital Territory
when amaru and i registered our cars the law in place was that ANY import coming from out of state MUST go over the dickson pits to be registered in the ACT, e.g. My r33 was a canberra car but as the owner moved from nsw, it still had those plates, so when i changed the rego to my name i had to take it over dickson to pass ACT rego. however i think since then the law has be repealed, so you can have a rego and safety check done at any authorised rego inspection garage (there are several that are are authorised to do this in canb, so they will not be as harsh as dickson) but im not sure on the changes to the law so you'll have to check that out. but if you claim your primary residence in the ACT and the car is under your name the car MUST have ACT plates, so i assume your thinking of registering the car in your parents name in sydney? then passing it there? anyway its all pretty unescessary if the car is stock and in good cond, as they will let you go. dont beleive all of the hype you hear about the evil guys at dickson, because most of them are avid car enthusiasts, its just the old guys that can be tight asses. -
ok seems as if everyone feels like siting on the couch tonight to watch ghost busters, so i guess we'll leave it for another time. im going to head off to the g/fs so hope you all have a nice night.
-
ok no worries mate, in the mean time GtsDuy, gus and i are heading out to the cotter to have a look at whats happening with the soundoff.
-
oh yeah syndicate, might go and have a look, its only 5mins from my place.
-
lol dude, i dont know, once we get some interest then we'll take it from there, just need to know if anyone wants to come out first before we start planning. but as i said if we only get a couple of us then that will be fine.
-
nah totally cbf with a bbq, i was thinking just coffee or something simple today, but tonight is fine as well, im not really expecting a huge ammount of interest, but if only a few of us get together thats sweet. or if anyone just wants to go for a drive in the cotter and hang out for a bit, then that'd be great too, either way im happy, just to go drive and meet up.

*rubs eyes*........*rubs eyes again* just woken up and feeling seedy as all hell from work last night, does anyone feel like going for a cruise today, maybe just out to the cotter, or go for a coffee in woden or teh hyperdome? come to think of it a hot chocolate would go down really well aswell. let me know if your keen, or give any other thoughts on what you would like to do. Andrew.

you'll need a photo resizing program, (photoshop or the like) but if i could make one then just about any diaper wearing monkey should be able to figure it out. but i cant for the life of me remember how i did it, my pic was taken at the syndicate dyno day a few months ago, and i somehow rezised it, and hooked it up, but being able to link from your hard drive on here makes things alot easier. i'll try and re-trace my steps, but by them im sure one of the others will have told you what to do.
-
sigh, no. i should have asked hey? i will find out for you and let you know, and once they are on i will give some feedback as to my thoughts/oppinion on them. as i said ed seems to like them, and i trust him implicitly, so all should be good.
-
stuck at work, im on reception at least, so its not so bad, hope you all had a great night, i would have loved to come and join you all, hope your still out having fun.
-
ok back from ed's, he's ordered them in for me, they are i think 245/45/17's (not 100% sure) there were quite a few to chose from. the ones im getting are $210 each (will probably do them cheaper on tuesday when they arrive) and as far as he's concerned are good tyres and will do a very good job, so i guess all in all im happy, i could have got ones for $190 but these seemed slightly better and they will wear better for me anyway.
-
spotted a yellow R33 with black stripes down the bonnet on my way back from qbn this arvo, also a very nice blue gtr out at ed's, a few zeds and a few sils and 180's
-
im going out to see ed, in an hour, i'll let you know what prices etc he ca do.

so hang on youve done the p off course, and your wondering if you can still keep your lisence? thats what i got from what u said anyway, if that is the case then your fine! i lost all four of mine in 1 hit gassing down drakeford in my old lancer. so i did the p off course 2weeks later before i paid the fine and i have 4points again, how long till you get points back after losing them though? doesnt matter really anyway, i will have my full lisence in 6months.
-
how many points were taken? is it contestable? more info Andrew.
-
i need 2more fronts now, dont really want to pay more than $200 each though so $180 for the hankooks sound good. i want super low profile tyres though, dont they cost more? seems odd though as there is less rubber on them.
