Veilside R33

spotted a white R33 with chromies, and a red R33, plates were D*** and myself(blushes) doing a drop off at the ginnenderra formal at rydges this evening. edit: also a nice silver R33 on i think its william hovell this evening at about 6. gave a wave and got a big one back

i'll almost definatly be working, if by some turn of fate im not, i'll be happy to do it, (just got home from doing the ginnenderro formal) but i wont know till monday sorry

yeah goran saw you heading down hindmarsh (i think it is) yesterday evening toward woden. i was going the other way to meet the guys at jerra, gave you a massive wave, but got no love back.

come to the jerra on tuesday, i think i'll be making regular appearances......if i can borrow your buffer i can come get it and you can see it......hint hint lol Trident: tyre saga still umm....a saga i guess, defect was extended a futher 2 weeks and all should be fine touch wood, but its been dragged out to much. though the g/f isnt pregnant and the results came in today from her scan and there is no cancer either, so thats all good news.

cheaper than you think. all that needs trimming are the door vinyls dash and seats, everything else can be done for under $150 if you know how to paint. look at stirlo, he's just repsrayed his GTR himself for practically nothing, and it looks amazing.

lol no he isn't *looks over shoulder* terminal: yeah i am selling it, its for sale. but i thought that for $36 it would make the interior look even nicer and be worth more in re-sale value. the eyes buy first.

hey all, just thought i'd put up a few pics of my project over the last few days. http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36689902 http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36689915 http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36689960 http://www.pbase.com/yldsky/image/36689906 heres whats just been done: speakers, door inserts, elec window covers, glovebox, a-pillars, rear section, and sides of the seats. it took me 3days and has now been finally and very carefully put back in. in happy with the end result and at a grand total of $36 im not complaining so thats what i did with 3 days and $36 and im quite chuffed with myself, and she'll be ready for the first of my formal runs on thursday for those of you who'll be drinking and trivia-ing at jerra will see it tonight if you want a look. Andrew.

hey guys just a quick one. i was driving home from the g/f's last night and i gave it a blast on an abandoned back road, launched from a standing start, reved hard into 2nd, then shifted at high rpm into 3rd, back into 2nd to take a corner(reving very high) flew through the corner, then reved it high, put it into 3rd, reved out 3rd into 4th, then slowed a bit then slammed it back into 3rd, then back into 2nd, the car didnt reach redline at all, but was obviously close, a few minutes later when i got home (took it very easy for the last few minutes, rolled it in neutral down a few hills to cool) after i was sitting there for a few minutes for more cooling i noticed the temp gauge had crept above the middle, nearly half way beetween normal and high. then a few seconds later it was fine again at normal temp. so do i have anything to worry about potentially? i dont have an fmic but im running stock boost, but ive never seen the temp gauge go above middle, but i did drive it very hard f0or a few minutes, so maybe this is all it was?

when i got home after work then sun was up, not going anywhere with this, just thought i'd share

lol prolly cause i was flying, trying to catch up after the traffic lights. i swear i accidentally got my foot jammed on the velocitator! i couldnt tell there was a pearl purely because i was concentrating on the cars in front etc, if i was a passenger i could have commented but not with quick glances i was taking, but it did look beautifull to say the least, it would be really well set off with a wing too! what did the whole job set you back?

just had a very nice, um "spirited" run with stirlo down drakeford, paint looks great mate, and the BOV sounds good too. good fun!

i think it starts around the first of december and ends around sometime next september, they're calling it the "lets fist the public and take all of their money for as long as we can and pass it off as a road safety initiative blitz" .....or something along those lines boxing day would be fine for me, but alot of us will be away or recovering. 19th workes for me though
