hey guys, as mine is up for sale, and you all know the story by now im looking for something much cheaper to get me around for the next few years. i've set myself an absolute limit of 5k, and mainly looking at VL's with a few little mods, but im fairly open minded, but here are the main things i want in the car. doesnt need to be fast at all(but i wont mind if it is lol), just a nice cruiser. needs to be clean both inside and out. km's dont need to be low but for something like a commodore nothing over 250000kms would prefer something local, i dont want to have to travel to far to get it. and of course air con and power steering etc and preferably just an auto. so if you can just keep me in mind if you see something with the afformentioned details i'd really appreciate it. i've got over 4k in the bank so i could buy another car now, but im not sure if i want to buy one before i sell the skyline, there is a really nice 93 commo in the paper today thats immaculate with only 180kms on it, i've had a long chat with the owner and got him down to 5.2k, so its quite tempting.... thanks again though guys, Andrew.

sounds good! searched on calais turbo and got some decent advice, ive taken the major bottom radiator hose off let it drain, flushed it with water, and will re-connect it and re-fill it, basically exactly what you said.

now the only prob is how to get the stuff out, i can see a hose at the bottom but no plug hmmm, damn dinosaur technology i should be able to figure it out, unless........OMG...IM DUNMBER THAN A DINOSAUR!!!!???? a DUM-OSAUR?

hey guys, just need to change the radiator fluid in my dads stateman for him, i learnt a bit about how to do it the other day thanks to Jayce and ed, i take it there is a plug i pull out to drain it? then i just mix the fluid and distilled water according to the bottles instructions, then top up the radiator, then turn the car on to get it flowing through, then top it up again? any more info or anything i have wrong?

all i'll say, is aftr spending nearly 2 yrs as a valet at the hyatt euro cars in general are over priced crap, yes fair enough mercs and bmw's are nice cars but for what you pay is simply stupid, they are really nothing special!!! i'll give full credit to the M3, it is very fast, handles fantastically and will give pretty much anything a good run for its money, ive also taken out the AMG twin turbo either v12 but most likely v8 twin turbo, and yes it is fast but handles like crap and costs an obscene ammount of money. so get off your high horse about how special bmw's are because they absolute sh*t for the ammount of money you spend. if you want to spend your money well and still get euro? give it to the italians or get a porsche or audi. oh and i've driven Lachlan Murdochs M5 and they're nothing special at all!!! p.s. wanna spend 150k on an M3? spend $120k on an immaculate, modded, hardly driven, R34 GTR and see who wins?

i also have tyres that are in good condition, they are attached to my Red R33, im selling the tyres for 20k and throwing the car in for free, see the for sale section ROFL!

i agree with nick, if you want to know the details either pm me or ask me on sunday, i have photos of the aftermath. but for the record heres what happened..........we enjoyed a splendid evening of refreshing beverages and jolly banter and some delightfull company, after the barmaster had decided that the time had come to close for the evening he suggested that perhaps it was a good time to part company for the evening, we happily agreed and exited the delightfull establishment singing christmas carols as we were heading to the local orphanage to pass out gifts to the children, Richard was the first to depart, he left in a calm and orderly manner while we stood chatting about the wonderfull evening that we had just enjoyed, he then turned through the round about going at a slow pace so as not to take any risks that may involve damage to his lovely vehicle that could include the nescessary revulcanising of his airfilled transport wheels. he then slowly proceeded up the road all the while whistling a happy tune, and he then dissapeared over the hill and on his merry way.......................thats my story and im sticking with it!

ive lost control of mine in a big way a couple of times, and once stopped about 3 feet from a concrete barrier, its VERY easy to do and once its lost traction in a situation like this be it gtst or gtr your purely a passenger, and well put by Nik, it does happen to even the best of us. Leech_, yes, Richard as in Sinista, no oficial damage report as yet, but on an initial brief inspection by richard the damage doesnt seem to bad, but who knows what the under body looks like now? fingers crossed though!!!

spotted richard losing control and getting airborne after smashing into a median strip, very very scary to see. Erica: the rims look fantastic, if you see someone skulking around your house late at night, dont worry, i'll just give them a quick spin, have a giggle and be on my way lol.
