  1. no he's had that number transferred to his house so it should answer, trying to remember his address.... its in mcquade pl in charnwood,(im pretty sure thats the name of it) its at the back right hand side of the street, strangely enough it wil be the one with the skylines and imports out the front.
  2. was dave there? he's a pretty young guy, and was absolutely fantastic and a few other young guys there were good too, if there are old guys there you could be in trouble, but the young guys were really good with me! i know one guy who gave the guys at the pits a lot of trouble, being a smart ass talking down to them etc... so they drilled him for everything they could find. a big part of it is respect, if you treat them well they will do the same(in general) i dont know if nick and ewan will remember but when i was going through getting my car over the pits a while ago, i put a big post up on another local forum saying that my dad was taking the car in and saying it was his etc...and i was saying how clever i was and how dumb they were, turns out one of the guys brothers was a member of the forums and told them all about it, the guys at the pits thought it was hilarious and gave me soooo much sh*t about it, and that they do read forums etc....anyway they all laughed about it, were very kind with checking the car and wished me well.
  3. nah of course not stirlo, no offence taken, she hopes shes not pregnant more than i do, neither of us want a bub, i dont think i'll ever want one full stop and neither does she. otherwise i wouldnt have brought it up, she thinks shes fine, she skipped her period this week for other, um.....chick reasons i guess. so i'll know by next week. once again thanks for all your support guys, i knew i could count on all here to advise/support. in regards to the car, the most important thing is to find someone who wont be a tight ass to me, but b4 that im going to follow it up and find out exactly who issued the defect, if it was a parking cop, then i'll have it dismissed as they cannot issue defects, the only other thing it could have been was a "random" inspection, and i use the term "random" loosely.
  4. thanks very much for the kind words guys, i didnt get to sleep for ages last night, but just woke up feeling awefully calm and relaxed about the whole thing, im sure it will all be fine, im gonna go have a talk to ed tommoz and see what options i have, my exhaust is .3 of a decibel under the limit, sweeeetttt!. if they want to be pricks they could do me for a few things, but the car does NOT have to go over dickson....thank god!!! but yes as jayce said, no baby is a good baby, so fingers crossed hey? im sure it will all be fine. im thinking of walking of getting a lift to work from now on, asif im going to pay $6 a day to get defects and parking tickets. and to gunmetal R33 thabnks VERY much for the pm, means alot! and to everyone else who offered parts, support, thankyou ALL very much! now seeing as ed cant do roadworthys anymore, im going to have to find a good mechanic who can inspec the car fore me.....any ideas;op pms welcome.
  5. i'll keep it short, left work at 7:30 tonight, got to thew lights to the left of the southern cross with jb hifi up and to my right and hindmarsh running accross me, saw a flyer on my window and noticed the word defect on it, jumped out while waiting and grabbed it, i was defected for having a worn front left tyre, cant begin to describe how furious i am! it isnt even down to its wear indicators, it has a worn edge, but the whole other tread is perfect, yet the vulture prick of a parking cop decided he'd do me for it anyway, and send me away for A FULL INSPECTION!!! the car handles, brakes and performs better than 90% of cars, yet because the outside of the edge of 1tyre is slightly worn, i get defected! and have to have the whole car checked!! so furious, have since left several tyre tracks on the way home. no wi have 2 weeks to get the probs fixed (cash wont be a problem for once at least) and i have formals to take people to, looks like the fronts will be put on the rear and ripped to shreds. and to make matters worse, my g/f may be pregnant and she may have breast cancer.....great finish to the day! sorry for the rant but i need to blow off some steam, and punching stuff seems a perfect solution now, but nevertheless wont solve anything.
  6. working, i think ive had one friday off since february, when i went away.
  7. lol then WTF am i loking at? hahaha, will do mate, thanks once again.
  8. actually i was about to ask a similar question to this, i do know of a place in canberra that does this, i think they are a married couple that run their own business? and if you dont mind me hi-jacking ur thread, does anyone also know of somewhere that can repair gutter scratches and polish my rims? again sorry to hi_jack.
  9. also, i have no idea what a mines chip is either, i was just told that the car had one when i bought it, i have no idea how to find out, i just had a quick look in the boot and the ecu looks stock, just a silver box. i'll take it out tomorrow b4 work and check it out, to see if theres anything different. but if theres a "chip" in there i wont be able to find out. sounds like bs to me though, i never really trhought much of it till now.
  10. ok well the general feeling here is that 10psi should be fine, but going over will, possibly screw with the turbo, not allow me to get any more power after 12psi anyway and make the car to hot. so i think for now, it will set it at 10/11psi, and on the hotter days, wind it down to 9ish.
  11. yeah this is true, the b/c only cost me $50 which is great as its a good unit, i never intended to run more boost, i had just planned on selling the car(money for the house), but now it seems as though i will need to keep it for work. so somewhere down the track i may get an FMIC but for now i guess i'll just keep it around 9-10pound and dial it up to 12 if anything lines up next to me. if i blow the turbo i'll get over it, just an excuse to buy a big one.
  12. which reminds me....nick i'll cal him for you tommoz or thurs to see if he's ok for the formal.
  13. i c, well 10psi will still make a huge difference im told from stock, im just over being beaten by ss commies cause i only have stock boost, and after 8months of not running higher than (is 5pound stock?) its starting to sh*t me. its not likely i'll be getting an FMIC as, all my money will be going into my house, otherwise i would have bought an EBC to start with. but 10pound is still enough to make a big diff so it wont be to dissapointing.
  14. hey guys, just a very quick one, on my R33 i have a 3" turbo back xhaust, mines computer chip, apexi super intake, hks ssq bov and one or 2 other minor mods. i have just bought a greddy phneumatic boost controller (good unit should only spike max of 2pound) and i will hopefully fit it in the next fortnight. however i may not put it on as im slightly concerned that im not running an FMIC, i want to run 12 pound but i fear i may harm the car if i dont have an intercooler. do you think it will be ok to run that boost without it? if its going to hurt the engine i'll turn it down to stock psi during the day or when its hot and just run higher boost at night. and i obvioulsy wont be running any higher than 12 as its still the stock turbo. so in short can i run 12psi without an FMIC relatively safely?
  15. yep scuby is an ABSOLUTE ASSHAT!!! we had a big topic on him on ns.com a few months ago, because he was causing alot of trouble. so alot of members sent emails to him, just ripping him to bits, and all he would do in his replys would be to pick out "ANY" spelling or grammatical errors and accuse the person who sent him the email of not being worth his time and being an idiot for makinf a speeling error, he's just an absolute fag that needs to be taken out crossing the road by a import at high speed.
  16. was pretty huge at the irish today while i was working, so scared about the car, but no damage in the end, had soooo much fun drining though (insert evil laugh and prying fingers together)
  17. dammit, whats going on with the mega whoring lately? tis becoming a hassle to read threads, meh.
  18. meh should be ok, are you taking pics before hand? do you want the cars there? where do we need to meet in order to "escort" you to rydges?
  19. be sure to keep an eye out in the classifieds and for sale sec mate, there are always bride rails going there. maybe ask ed at integra, perhaps he would know? either way, pics up asap!!!
  20. hahaha lol i needed a winge, just go along with it, haha. i started work at the international golf centre when it opened, got paid 6.06 per hour at night!!! they ended up getting threatened with legal action though and we all got back paid!! yay me thinks a thread to bitch about out jobs would be nice.
  21. hey dude, if im not working, i'll come for you, would be good for our rep to if we get some formals done with sau driving responsibly in an escort. though getting me to drive responsibly could be a sh*tfight lol. ive had a couple people ask me to do formals lately, so i think i'll spray my interior fully to make it look nicer for them. anyways, count me in.
  22. spotted a nice red R33 with a tiny drift wing, going past the irish club at about 5:30this eveing, ive seen it a bit near cooleman court
  23. i'd say my place, but no doubt my parents will be home, if im not working i'd love to come
  24. oooorrrrrrr, you could try dealing with drunks constantly, getting yourself covered in bourbon, spirits and beer for hours on end, handling dirty glasses, cleaning filthy ashtrays, and always picking shit up, work horrific hours and still stay friendly and polite the more drunk people get, and just praying for one of them to step out of line so you can drop them! going through shoes faster than an etheopian marathon champion running on glass, because the alcahol eats through your shoes, and no matter how hard you try you can never put enough moisturiser on your hands to stop them from drying out because of the alcahol and conditions. hmm wow working on a register at k-mart seems pretty good all of a sudden, lol oh well im going to get ready for work im starting in an hour, but im on reception today, so i get to relax, surf the net and do nothing aaallllll day! yay!
  25. hey mate, your lonely? tell us whats troubling you, well im here to listen go ahead and pour your heart out, i'll be here......*turns on autotyper, runs inside to watch idol*
