Cheers Damien. Hoist = super fun happy time ha. Yeah wheels should hopefully work with the look I am after, time will tell Yeh spacers = junk. Not much progress of late...but will keep on keeping on! Started getting the rear apart ready for paint prep and new rear tail/reverse lights to go in: 1. Getting rear exhaust shields out and ready to cleaned and painted My little friend, works great to loosen up the sealant around rear tail lights This is where we got up to, scraper works to get most the black gummy sealant off, then just thinners on a rag worked sweetly

Rear brembo calipers available? -
Cheers mate. Been flat out with it but not much to show for it! still haven't got a chance to get motor progress photos....fuuuaarrrkkkk!! Yeah cheers Richard. Hopefully end up with a reliable, fun and clean 32R Got started on the front end, front sub-frame is now ready to drop out and to start the strip down Also, got started on completing removing the HICAS system (was initially just going to throw the lock bar in but decided I want the additional room in the engine bay room and why not save a bit of weight!)

Thanks mate. Appreciate that. Do you get any oil surge/drops in pressure? Would be great to hear from others actually using an accusump and what EPC valve you're running... Cheers
-
Hey mate Still haven't sorted an oil cooler kit at this stage....Will most likely just run the HKS kit that comes with everything needed. I did find out that HPI do an oil cooler only as well as the kit. Couldn't find out what was actually included in it but did find out price was about the the same as HKS etc

Hi Guys Who is running what? Looks like options are Nismo, Whiteline and OEM Nissan...any others out there? Car will be doing decent amount of track work but want to keep it as 'comfortable' as possible for street as well (to much to ask...ha) Thinking I will just grab some new Nissan items and see how they go, will be cheapest option I think Any feedback appreciated -
Hi Guys As part of my current build I will also be running a Tomei oil pump, ACL bearings (with an extra thou clearance) and sump extension (8L capacity). Unsure of oil weight as yet... I am interested to know what oil pressure you're reading at say idle, 3k, 6k and 7.5k RPM? Also those who doing track work what pressure drops are getting down to? Reason I ask is am trying to figure out with EPC valve to run with Accusump....I found this doc from Canton, see link below: http://cdn.racerpartswholesale.com/downloads/EPC%20FAQ.pdf But just want to confirm the 35-40 psi valve is going to be the correct one?? Really unsure at which level of oil pressure (psi) I want the Accusump to open...35-40 psi Or 55-60 psi?? Cheers

Got a chance to get the rest of the dash out over the last few days and started to suss out the items below 1. OEM clutch line 2. OEM slave cylinder 3. OEM clutch pedal bracket Looking to do a decent amount of track work and had heard this bracket was prone to breaking. Having a closer look you can see it has previously been welded up due to exactly this All the above items are being upgraded to Nismo items below: Nismo item looks to be a lot stronger, so will hopefully love the track conditions OEM clutch cylinder is also out ready for new OEM Nissan item to go in

R32 Gtr Complete Rebuild
$$slowmedown replied to whizzn's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Mate...you should run these to complement your Tein coilovers!! Give me a call to discuss (think I sent you a PM other day with my number) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/412108-bnr32-tein-f-r-strut-braces-brand-new-must-see/page__fromsearch__1 Also, where are the under bonnet pics?? -
PM sent Thought I should share the most important piece of my build design concept: I came across this old school metal HKS emblem in a local Jap wreckers and got it thrown in with a Nismo flywheel (which is now subsequently not not needed and is FOR SALE - PM me for details) I purchased... I have always loved the signature colours of HKS (green & purple) and have used this emblem as a basis for my complete engine bay design and with the car in general... Will let the photos do the talking...updates coming soon
