  2. Really nice work Anthony, cheers for organising those parts, massive help! Grommets look ideal as well, gettin it done mate
  3. Rear wiper removal fun... Easy part Nut rusted and fused to thread Hacksaw out Success, got it with no breakage More junk for the bin
  4. Cheers mate, appreciate the input Haha cheers Nick, plenty more to come mate, still going with the shit stuff! Just learning as I go hey, all about having the right people around you, right tools, a big shed and an old man who is always there to help Yet to see how it goes putting it back together....that's the hard bit (but the best) Thanks for confirming Paul Took some photos of the bay when the light was a lot better, pretty happy with how it came up
  5. Bonnet and boot also in primer, all glass coming out thursday and more paint fun over the weekend
  6. Activities from the weekend, got the front subframe stripped down ready to start paint prep Plan is to get everything cleaned down, painted, replace hub seals (bearings feel good), some new ball joints to replace Also have to get the rotor dust shields off, can anyone offer any advice on doing this easily/best way?
  7. Currently talking with Matt @ Newera, will let you know what he comes back with
  8. Where did you guys get to with this...? I am keen to get this happening asap Also want to get the OEM rear wing in CF Lets get a groupbuy going for both items
  9. Mate you're dead right, they create works of art! Thanks heaps for that info re washer bottle etc Thanks mate, will continue to do my best.... Ok so another issue.... 1. What's with the 4 x screws in the rear wing that do nothing? 2. The wing is crazy heavy?! Seems weird they would go to effort aluminium fenders and bonnet and have a wind made of lead... 3. Mounts for the wing are stuffed and they look to be different on either side?? Can the vertical mounts for the wing be purchased separate..? I was really trying to keep car looking as factory as possible but just not sure about the rear wing...they look the best IMO... However, can anyone suggest anything equally as good in terms of looks and functions better in terms of weight and downforce?
  10. Mate I was trying to do that clip as embeded but could not figure it out...made me so angry PLEASE SOMEONE TEACH ME!!!
  11. Perfect Anthony. Can you shoot me the part no. on that N1 washer bottle? Let me know re the seatbelts when you get a chance...can anyone else comment on their rear seatbelt setup??? Was referring to rear quarter trim removal....guidance on getting this out with destroying it please someone?! Yeah I hear you Damien, I have been dreaming of doing this for around 7 years mate. Never give up mate, if you want it bad enough it will happen. And start preparing yourself, the amount of work and time it takes is out of control! Getting there Paul, the good stuff will be coming in the coming weeks.... This turned up today...enjoy.
  12. Any thoughts on additional pick ups yet? Only thing I have come across are these... http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/html/pickups.html
  13. Cheers. Onto it Michael, got an unreal glass guy, he is organising new front windscreen etc as well
  14. Also, not sure what to do with rear parcel shelf... Was just going to strip the fugly carpet junk off and get black suede or similiar to suit rest of interior....anyone got any suggestions...perhaps something cool I don't even know about? Suppose just see what upholsterers say...
  15. Thanks mate. I am confident mine will not be the same as that 32R... Plates suit any unique car not just mine so might be worth something to someone down the track... Got the rear cleared out of and have a few problems/questions... Ok so questions: 1. Rear seatbelts - factory Nissan ones were still in car and mounted but had been cut....Aus seat belts had been installed (I assume as part of compliance) but they were mounted through the parcel shelf....these were mounted so poorly my jaw dropped upon inspection! How are your rear seat belts mounted? I have another 32R here and it has the OEM Nissan rear belts in it and looked safe and sound. 2. Rear interior trim removal - quarter panel glass is coming out and need to sort these seat belts, how do you remove this without breaking it to pieces??? Or is it just get it out and bin it then order new stuff? 3. Rear wiper removal - best just to source and install the the N1 grommet or whatever it is? Thanks in advance, appreciate your input! Cheers
  16. Beautiful work yet again Paul, how close are you getting to turn now? What are you thoughts on the need for a cooler for the power steer, only really required if doing extended targa/racing events..?
  17. Cheers Nick, doing my best with photos...wish I had the patience to do more and had a decent camera! PM sent Nice. Cheers for the input Michael. How did it work out for you? You get it done with no paint damage...would it help leaving the intake mani off and just bolt that on once in? My thoughts exactly Michael
  18. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/150991912072?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Not cheap and unsure if will fit etc
  19. Cheers Anthony. Sure does. Need some more time to get stuck in and get it and the front one apart and then start on paint prep Thanks mate, yeah they should do the job! Quick update: Got the bay painted today!! What a mission...not looking forward to trying to keep it looking like this when putting motor and everything else back in Plan is to have motor, gearbox and complete front subframe finished and assembled and lower the body down onto them Bit worried about getting the motor up through the middle of the chassis without scratching it Anyone with experience, please let me know your thoughts
  20. Can't wait to see this thing come together, any idea of time frames yet...? Bring on the pics Anthony!!
  21. Few more parts in Bulbs for N1's New battery for the boot (thanks Paul) Whiteline gear courtesy of Gary (we decided not to run the solid aluminium subframe bushes due to their harshness) Latest shipment of Nissan parts
