    Cheers Michael. Will shoot you a PM when I get organised Couple of items getting fitted up and organised: 1. Tomei sump baffle 2. The infamous Tomei oil pump Motor is now in the hands of 'the Mechanic' who has been my rock thus far. Crank back from crack/hardness tested, linished, size checked, nose ground/collar fitted, gallery plugs drilled/tapped. Off to be balanced this week...

Motor is currently going back together and MAYBE will be done by EOY, but that's a BIG maybe...really trying not to rush any aspect of the build I think she have come a long come the end of Jan..but turn key may not be until March at earliest..will depend on paint work progress Haven't got too much left to get ordered/sorted so starting to get excited!! Chris, not sure what you mean mate, I haven't bought a remote from you...? Few more parts to add to the pile: 1. gktech Solid rear subframe bushes 2. gktech billet hicas cancel bar 3. gktech solid steering shaft spacer

    How do you find the Tein Mono's? What's the comfort level like on the street? Done much track time with them...? Is that 13kg front springs and 11kg rear...interesting

    Never really got time to look into this option. Mechanic said get the Tomei pump or otherwise dry sump it!!Brand new Tomei pump came up at an unreal price so that was that... Ha these are probably the last two items on my list! Have been struggling with part number for hoses under plenum for weeks... Another critical item complete! Capacity increased to 8L whilst retaining standard pick-up and sump depth Will get some motor progress pics this weekend hopefully

    Top work mate, you're pumping through this! I have bnr34 Brembo calipers I am going to run on mine as well AND will getting them done in black... Your rears looked to of come up mint! What's the go with getting new Brembo decals for all 4 calipers? What kind of paint did you run on the calipers...? I am yet to source new transmission and diff mounts...where did you get Kansai ones from? Any pics...? Also, what battery relo kit did you run...? Cheers

    Yep, no way I am taking that risk!! I think the brand new Tomei oil pump was one of my first additions to the ever growing parts pile... Must have missed putting a photo or two up of it...will get onto that ASAP A few more additions below: 1. Hi Octane cam cover baffles 2. Hi Octane Racing custom oil/air separator (still 1 x fitting to be added + painting)

    Intake side half stripped down: Hot side stripped back ready for cleaning After multiple cleans: All loaded up for the first of many runs to 'the mechanic's' So much more cleaning to do....fun fun

    Japan man, really trying to stick with Jap & Aussie made gear Nope. Running an extra thou clearance as upgrading to Tomei oil pump Not sure mate, really not focusing on power output...trying my best to achieve reliability (given my budget/resources) as will be doing a decent amount of track work

    Cheers Richard. I don't really understand the benefit of the N1 headlights...can anyone provide details? I just haven't found the time to research this item and whether it's worth spending more $$ on.... Cheers Damo. You and me both, really trying not to rush it...still a long way to go but should have motor ready by end of the year And yes all parts are Japanese and Aussie made quality that will hopefully serve me well!     Cheers Chris. Yep, fully committed to a motor that is as reliable as possible given my budget/resources... Also, hopefully the engine bay turns out to be the 'work of art' I have had pictured in my head for a long time now! Yeah will do re OEM parts. I have most things ordered or on their way... One thing I am struggling with is what to do with front head lights. Not sure which way to go with these? Do you the details on the N1 lights...what's the deal with them?

Ruzic 4wd controller 4. HKS braided brake lines 5. HKS Twin Power ignition enhancer 6. HKS Cirle Earth grounding kit Really can not wait until all this starts coming together...... Have been planning the engine bay alone in my head for months, not to mention the rest of the other car!!

Yeah just hope I get it right. Can't wait to get some shots of the motor when it's done, pushing to have it done by year end.... 8 hours!! Man you have more patience than me. Really hoping I only have to do this once...and do it right. Hey mate. Ahhhh a BIG question.... I will let the photos tell the story... Once motor is done all will be revealed...stay tuned

    Nicely said mate. Haters gonna hate.....haha Cheers Ben. Stay tuned, will not disappoint! Next stage, motor out. Ended up taking me a day or so. First time I'd done it and had heard it was not the best... Ended up being not tooooo bad. Few times had to ask myself 'how the fk am I going to get to that?!' And there were a few calls to the professional. The one metre extension bar was a life saver for the top 2 bell housing bolts. The big unit onto the stand... Decent amount of work to get to this stage. Plenty more to come, so much cleaning to do....faaarrrrkkkkkk!!

Mines pulley set 3. Samco radiator and heater hose kit with Samco stainless fasteners 4. Nismo engine mounts 5. HKS cam gears, timing belt and fuel rail kit 6. Billet oil filler cap (not just for looks, more details to follow) 7. Genuine Nissan N1 water pump & oil dipstick 8. ACL main & rod bearings

    Yeah condition of them was below average and CBF'd dealing with them now or down the line so a fresh set of OEM's was the go Cheers Brett. I am North Bris mate but cheers for the offer....always good to have an extra set of hands. Yours has come a long way. Nice work.

    Cheers guys! Well ask and you shall receive... First things first, time to get car stripped down to see how she has fared for the last 20 + years! Stock intercooler to be replaced with an ARC item....specs/pics to come Stock BOV's to be replaced with some mint OEM BNR34 items...pics to come Stock sump to be extended and HB to be upgraded...specs/details to come Not a real pretty sight underneath...to much to list here...details/pics to follow Front pipe and cat to be upgraded...specs/details on new front pipe to come Really wanted to do a complete 'before and after' shot of the engine bay but must have been to into it to remember to take a photo of the complete engine bay before I got stuck in....this is at the point when I remembered Don't know where to start with motor upgrades, pics will probably tell the story best...stay tuned
