  1. It all depends if it's on a weekend ....could be workn. Will be a good excuse to wash the car!!
  2. Might be interested....
  3. After uncliping plug to globe, simply turn anticlockwise 1/4 turn and it will pop out.
  4. LOL!! Maybe I should put this thread back into the hole that I found it in....don't forget the original question to this thread 'What I Love About My Stagea, Things we're "absolutely in love with'
  5. The fact I can fit 6 person tent, camp gear, bar fridge, double air matresss, all the food and drinks, 2 dogs (Cattle dog and Labrador) and still travel in comfort. Also with all that gear, it pulled up any hill with ease!!! Got a few people asking about the car...they are like WTF is this. :laughing-smiley-014:
  6. Can't agree more...the YEN has just kept going up which is really good if you want to try and import one in yourself. Go to the yards and check out a few cars so you can compare S1's and S2's. Work out how much you want to spend, most important..... There was a white S2 at Import Car Centre in Springwood, asked guy bout it and it had sold for $22k. There is a silver S1 in there for $19900 ther atm. Considering I imported my S2 for under 18k, my choice (and mine alone) would be to import and save the extra money for mods. Good luck!
  7. Very nice If they good at blending paint colours...then I might get them do around my mirrors. Nothing like positive feedback from others!!

    My S2

Go the DAYZ version!! Give her a good detail, cut and polish and will come up A1. Enjoy......
  9. Spotted my old R33 S1 in Springwood.......Oh why did I have to sell it Gee it needs a wash but!! lol
  10. My car also got complied with 17's....as long as offsets and clearances are close to standard, should be AOK. Apparently rules are bit more tolerable to non standard wheels now!!
  11. Just wondering why your badges are just RS but you are selling it as an RS4.....RS a RWD model. Nice car but!
  12. The resrtictor should go into the silicone tube from the intercooler pipe-EBC.
  13. On removing the side panels, the bottom part pulls out from the outside as it is held in by clips, the top half was very tight so I didn't wanna risk snappping it off. It's possible?? that the top clip is just a different type or mine just really tight. I would assume that the whole lot just unclips from outside. Would proberly better to look it up on FAST 1st.
  14. Not that I've removed the spoiler, I would say that first point to look at removing it would be to remove the inside plastic trim surrounding rear window. Easier to remove rear brake light cover and the trim will pop off quite easily. More than likely there will be a couple of bolts holding in the spoiler you will need to undo.
  15. Just recently did a trip in mine down to Sydney/Wollongong from Brisbane and could easily get 600-630 km's per tank with fuel light just popping on. This is using a/c and overtaking lanes where appropriate. Fuel economy is only going to be as good as your right foot is letting it be. High boost and stop start traffic always going to lower the effiency. Round town can get approx 500-520 km's per tank. This in a 1999 S2 RS tiptronic, only mod is the 3" cat back system that came with the car.
  16. Interior clean as.....no complaints there!!
  17. I paying $1091.00 insured for 19k. 30y/o 65%ncb with shannons. Prefer them to JCI as I can pay by the month.
  18. 1) The shape of the car (sleek wagon) 2) The handling 3) Tiptronic 4) RWD 5) TCS button.(my missus hasn't found it yet) 6) The room with the rear seats folded down 7) The ambient temp sensor (very accurate too)
  19. Howdy all....back finally after moving house and getting internet back on. Car on the road after a very enduring import process!! Car arrived bout 6 weeks ago and has been on the road for about a week and a half now. Had to sort out a few irritating problems the Compliance workshop had given me, rear boot light was always on and self closing motor was nearly burning out due to this problem. When i picked up the car, the guy who done the work said that he had noticed this happening but did not know why????(did not do it b4 workshop got to it) So I drove off and delt with it for about a day. Eventually found the problem...they had fitted the child restraint bolts through the harness leading to the interior light grounding it out. NOT HAPPY!! Not easy to get to the wiring to solder a link into the harness let me tell you. Also loose plugs leading to the front headlights ,my exhaust hitting the gearbox and oversized tires scrubbing the guards not really satisfactory workmanship from this place in question. Not wanting to name names...this Gold Coast compliance shop should take a bit more time and care with working on our cars as we pay good money for them to do a proper job. My rant over I feel much better!! Here's a couple of more pics.....car runs really good and happier now that I've fixed up all the problems. Learnt more about this car in a week than I ever did with my old 33 in 3 years. Will take a few more pics and add them as I go.....hope there's a Stagea cruise soon to come along too!!
  20. For future referances all you need to do is take the plastic trim around the window off, then the locking caps for the carpeted trim and access latch from there. Push down on the part with the yellow bush which has the push rod attached.
  21. Enjoy your move!! South side Brissy becoming very popular now the Gold Coast has become soooo expensive. I'm sure you will find some work....plenty of it around the area.
  22. I'd also have to say try here and on Carsales.com.au....sold my old 33 on SAU few months back and my van went on Carsales just last week. Trading post complete waste of money now.....got no hits from them.
  23. To solve your dripping problems....simply add a T-piece at a high point close to the bottle. The one i used had adjustable jets in the connectors ( from a fish tank kit ) Slightly open up the jet at the top of the T piece ( so the inline pressure won't drop) and run the water line into the top of your water spray bottle, this way you won't have any more drips emptying the bottle overnite.
