  1. $160 per litre? How many litres are required for a change?
  2. ok all.... intake pipe with K&N pod filter on ebay: Item: 370192426273, $58USD plus $55USD shipping and $2USD insurance.... I just ordered my kit...
  3. Hi All, I was just wondering where I could find a pair of seat rails for aftermarket seats? I maybe looking to install either some recaros or brides... Is the seat bolting arrangement the same as the 350z? If so, then it won't be a big problem as I can find them.
  4. Can anyone build me an exhaust at "mates rates"???? My v35 sedan will arrive in June/July and I am located in the west of Melb. I am looking at changing from single exhaust to dual exhaust...all stainless steel.

    My Porsche Cayman S Sport

Bought this brand new in Oct 2008 and then sold it in April 2009 with 4,500kms on the clock. Immaculate condition, only 700 in the world.
  6. Ok.....Another blonde question from a black-haired asian.... So coilovers for a 350Z would fit to a V35 sedan? Reading this thread, I would assume this is the case as the 350Z standard shocks and springs fit...
  7. It's always good to be in a V35 sedan....Although mine is yet to arrive, the boys in blue won't bother defecting a family man in a family car...LOL
  8. You know, if you go to the K&N website, it says you can order a CAI kit from Repco or Autobarn. So why bother searching high and low for a kit (or even DIY)? I am not in Aust now, but it will be the 1st thing I'll be doing - to enquire about the price at Repco. Or, another alternative, (If you are a cheapskate like me), then search eBay for a kit. The best kit that i have seen so far with a K&N filter is $58USD plus $55AUD delivery. It's $20.50USD for a kit without the K&N pod filter (I wouldn't recommend) from the same USA Seller. Hope that helps. And oh, despite what you read on the K&N website regarding V35 sedans (G35 Infiniti) and V35 Coupes, the CAI is the same, except for the coupe CAI Kit, they have extended the pipe further down into the front bonnet area. Anyways, do your own research. Furthermore to this, if you are searching for the radiator air dam cooling plate thingy , don't be silly and go a 350Z one as it won't fit! And, coupes and sedans differ, so buy carefully. I have also searched ebay and found a good CF one for around $50USD to fit the coupe (and needs a bit of trimming to fit the sedan). For all you V35 coupe owners out there, feel lucky that you can get much more aftermarket bling bling than us poor V35 sedan owners.... My 2 cents worth...
  9. Good luck with the sale mate... I would have bought it if it wasn't for that focker who won the auction and didn't pay up. Oh well, a missed opportunity for me...I'd guess I now have to be happy with V35 sedan instead. Nel.
  10. Funny that someone should mention this ad. I enquired about it and got no response, even sms-ed the guy. And, about 2 weeks ago, I saw a silver "Nismo" edition on ebay - strangely enough, another fraud! Anyway, I am sick of hunting around for one, plus the Mrs wanted a "family car" so I went ahead and bought a 4 door with premium pack with factory bodykit lips/aprons...Should arrive in 3 weeks! As to Ben Lippa of J-Spec, thanks mate for all your help with the Aristo. It's a shame to see me not follow through with it as I've opted for this V35 instead. On another note, it is so difficult to find "bling bling" for the V35 Sedan. Things like bodykits, exhaust system, coil overs, etc are proving a problem for me. Any help would be good.
  11. It's off. A pity and a shame. Only got 6 interested buyers. Need I say more? I apologise to all those that were interested. You may like to email slidewizeimports directly and get them at $1470/set (unless Zac is willing to give us 6 people a discount). Where to from here? Certainly never again will I arrange a group buy. As for rims, I'll stick to my stocks until I decide otherwise. Regards Nelson.
  12. Update: Geeman and 200sx are out. Anymore interested buyers? Seems we only have a solid 5 buyers - I think. I don't understand some of you guys sometimes. You all want quality and looks and not prepared to pay for it. Based on the previous group buys for other stuff on this site arranged by other people, I really feel disappointed at: 1. lack of interest and appreciation to those who arrange these things. 2. All talk and and no action. This will be the last group buy that I ever arrange on this site regardless of whether this group buy goes ahead or not. It is just not worth my time doing all the hard yards and reaping no extra benefit. Might as well just get the rims myself. 200sx, yes I have read your email and did reply to it. That's alright mate, you go and get another set of rims. No grudge taken. Geeman, I had the same thought as you to buy them straight away, but I thought I would do other skyliner's a good deed and offer a group buy where everyone benefits. Morale of the story is to be selfish and not share. So much for being a good samaritan. Also, no grudge taken. If I don't get at least 8+ interested buyers by end of this week, i am calling this off. For those who indicated an interest, i thank you for your support. If you are still interested, please contact Slidewize directly after this week - just in case miracles do happen. Nelson. P.S. Buddyclub PI's only come in a maximum size of 17" and maximum width of 9". Please go and check out the buddclub links that I have posted. Offsets can be found in the link provided by geeman. As for PII's, dream on if you think PII's can be bought for $1399.95/set (this backs my earlier comment about quality and good looks but not wanting to pay for it).

This Group Buy is looking very optimistic and may go ahead. Yeah!!!! :headspin: :headspin: :headspin: Nelson.
  14. OohArrGTR: Group buys for tyres are a bit difficult unless there is a group buy for every State in 1 dedicated store. The freight is the killer. As for sending tyres from Japan, I don't think Customs allows it due to different rubber compounds used??? (Not sure) If you would like to clarify this, post a Thread in the Discussions Forum. 200sx: Yes, I have just checked out the link posted by 'pivot'. $1299 is really cheap but then again, does that include delivery? (Yet to be confirmed by Mercurymotorsports). If it does include delivery, I am sure it is for a single delivery to a single address. My Group buy is to your doorstep, there's a difference. I have also left Slidewize a message about the Mercurymotorsports Groupbuy - will let you all know. But at this stage, I currently do not see anyone offering for cheaper. At the end of the day, whoever that can offer a better deal will get my business. And I am sure that it goes for all consumers!!! If Mercury are cheaper, I'll go with them. Regards, Nelson.
  15. Hey mate, Provided they are the right price, I am sure u'll get many interested parties. I will arange a group buy shortly of front bonnet lids and a seperate group buy for boot lids via a Singapore distributor quoting me $800 USD plus freight for bonnet and $900USD for boot. All carbon kevlar. If you can better that price, then I think the business will do well. If your mate needs a business partner, I may be inerested. pm me if your do require a business partner. Regards Nelson.
  16. Thank you inso. An update to the buy - Inso and myself are "In". I have 2 more who have expressed interest (you know who you are). This means, we technically have '4' buyers. Come on everyone, BuddyClubs are a good set of rims and look great on Skylines (or even any other car). I can't believe there are so few people jumping at this buy. Go check the site out for pics of the rims on their race cars. If you can find any place that can do you a new set of Buddyclub P1 Reacing 17" (rims only) deal for less than $1399.95 AUS delivered, I'll shave all of my hair off. Oh also, those who would like to see this happen to me must make a $10 donation to SAU. Remember, COB Fri 14th May 2004 is the cut-off. As for 8" being the legal width, I am not sure. I have seen 9" rears (WEDS rims) on jay51's r33 baby - No problems at all. Regards, Nelson.

  18. Mate, I am in the same boat..been in Brissy for 16 mths now....Don't intend on going back to Melb.....I love my job here in Bris.....Stuff Melb!!!! Everytime I go back to visit the relatives, I just can't stand driving there...everyone is so 'slow'.....
  19. You can do it yourself. a couple of hours should do. read threads on how to remove trims, back seats, etc..... If I was in Melb, I could do it for you - but you shout me a lunch! Also, check out my rear speakers in my Gallery.
  20. Anyone with $$$ in a Paypal account can only retrieve it either by bank cheque or direct deposit to an account, but they charge fees for it. Hence, when a buyer pays through Paypal, a premium is charged since that is the cost required for the seller to get the money from paypal. However, if you use the $$$ in the account to purchase items elsewhere that accepts Paypal, then there is no fee. Paypal is only good if you intend to trade online...You know, Selling and also buying. I hope this makes sense. As for watches, kind of stopped for a while. You require heaps of $$$ to buy in batches. I am short of $$$... As for SAFC-II, the limited edition models can be bough off Slidewizeimports.com for roughly the same price as that offered on eBay, I have contacted Slidewize to confirm this already.
  21. those who didn't get hit with the customs tax and charges are lucky....it really is like a russian roulette game, if customs opens up ur packages and inspects the products, then the chances of paying tax are highly likely...even ticked as 'gift'.... as for "100%" of the time.....I am wrong there....EMS 80% of the time..DHL 100% of the time... if the stuff is used/old, chances of getting taxed are lesser... the other way to get around it (or minimising chances of getting taxed) is to seperate the box/manuals, etc...just send the unit in 1 parcel..and the other stuff by normal mail....that way, the customs officer dun know what the hell the item is (unless it is a pretty obvious item)....... i trade watches on ebay........90% of the time, the watches i import i dun get taxed as they come in batches of 3.......but i remember paying $90 clearance fees on a $350 Raymond Weil watch once...and that was through DHL! you can also get ur mates to send over dvds, cds, etc.....they r much cheaper in asia..just dun send more than 1 copy of a title and u'll be right... pm me for more tips if required...more than happy to help.....
  22. with the nissan lettering: - just spray the whole calliper in the morning. By about midday, you would have rouhgly 4 coats on. Wait until the evening and use some fine sandpaper. Only a small piece will do rolled up into a cigartte shape. Then just lightly sand it. You will find that because the paint is still 'new' (not fully dried, but touchable), the paint just comes off. I used some plasterer's sandpaper, the stuff you use to fine-sand finish the platerboard walls with. Works great. You also don't need to remove the brake pads or callipers, just make sure that you clean the calliper properly with some degreaser (but don't get it on the rotors as it is slippery stuff) and then wipe it off with a cloth. when you do paint the callipers, tape up the areas that you don't want to paint (like the brake pads, etc). hope that helps. AND, PATIENCE IS THE MAGICAL WORD when it comes to painting the callipers. Don't rush things.
