  1. FFS its all the same! dosen't matter what brand, make sure its mineral and is suitable for LSD. Then chose your viscosity! All the viscosites mentioned in the above posts will be OK. For gear oils most oil companys use the similar additive packs and the base oils usually come from the majors ie Mobil, Shell, BP. So any reputable brand will be fine. Dont get carried away with brand names, do you really think so called specialists like Motul, Redline, Royal Purple invest more money into research than regulars Mobil, Shell, Castrol and so on? I dont think so! Ash
  2. Either 75/90 or 85/140 will be OK. Make sure it is a LSD oil. I believe most aftermarket diffs require a mineral oil, I know Kazz recomend mineral and say to avoid synthetics. What does the Cusco instructions say?

  17. Interesting comments. I would think it price depends on demand and availabilty at the time of sale. But somewhere in the vacinity of 20k should be acheivable. There are some real heaps of crap GTR's out there at the moment! I have a bog stock, never modified 1993 V Spec 1 in mint condition, with original BBS/Nissan Wheels, Brembos and Finned diff. I have had the details confirmed by Nissan that it is a V Spec 1. Still has factory air box and original radio/tape deck, what you think its worth.???? Ash
  18. Thanks guys glad you liked it. Im trying to stop it from drifting, drifting slows you down. Unfortunatlly its natural for the s14a to want to slide, its hard to dial it out. Its important to know that we have to have a 36mm intake restrictor on the turbo, this restricts hp to about 300 - 320 rwhp Its not an overly large list but here is a couple of items: Engine Forged 2ltr, Cams, Liners, 6 boost, 2871R, injectors, E85 Race fuel. Gearbox RB25 with twin plate OS Clutch Diff Locked Brakes Front 6 piston Wilwood calipers with Wilwood 340mm rotors and alloy hats Rear 4 Piston Wilwood caipers with Wilwood 310mm rotors and alloy hats Ferodo Racing pads 17 x9 Enkie RPF-1 255/40/17 Yokohama A048 R compond tyres (controlled tyres, we must use the A048) Pic http://www.pbase.com/barnsie01/image/118506207 http://www.ipraforum.com.au/download/file....6&mode=view

  20. They are a good thing from factory. I guess they have been homiligated for motoracing so the factory item must be good. Ash
  21. Targa rules say the intake system (including Injectors) must remain standard!. Also the car must run on a standard ECU, in other words you can change your ECU so long as when the scruitineers plug in the original ECU the car must run. Ash
  22. Buy a helmet designed for cars racing not motorbikes. Best to go to a race shop like Revolution Racegear and negotiate a better price than the one listed. I helmet for car racing is lighter, this means less load on your neck when you hit something. Also the inside material is flame resistant where as motor bike helmets are not. I have a OMP Helmet, cost about $1000 but is awesome compared to the motorbike helmets I use to have. Ashly
  23. Enjoy the last round of the State Championships Improved Production Race 3 Ash
