  1. ahahahahaha i read this, and decided i didnt have to read anymore because it would only go downhill from here.
  2. Pic of bootlid 'lip' spoiler Please note, this is not a picture of the actual spoiler ! It is to give some guys that PM'ed me an idea of what it looks like. Mine has been custom made to extend the whole length of the boot on a GTST. Mine is also just in a primer, its prepped up - ready to be painted. Thanks, -Liam.

  4. Hey Guys, Dont stress, Adz is currently building up his new car and has been away from the forums for a week. Unfortunately he is working to a strict deadline of having his car ready by friday and where he is, he has no access to the internet (which is retarded in this day and age). I will let him know he has an abundance of emails/pms to reply to, he will get back to you all shortly !! Thanks, -Liam.
  5. ahahahaaha ABS is a good thing, it helps assist people that dont know better in an emergency braking situation... not everyone is Ayrton Senna. I have ABS disconnected in my cars, i hate the pedal feed back when it comes on, and more importantly, relying on ABS is not a good thing at all, there are instances when ABS will not help you in the slightest and no matter what, you are a passenger in your car. I agree that when you are going to learn to drive a car hard/fast, you need to be able to drive relying on as little as possible to be a truely great driver. But some people are retards and need ABS and aircon. hehe j/k
  6. Hey man, I have R33 brakes all round on my r32. The fronts are slotted and drilled. Been like that for 2 years, i drive the car hard and there are no stress fratures or cracking on the front discs. If you drill all the way through the disc then you are at serious risk of cracking them. With a decent pad combo, they are very impressive. its another option to look at if price is an issue with the DBAs... but it sounds like the DBA discs are the go. With the praise in this thread, when i am up for new discs i will definitely go with the higher end DBA's
  7. hrmph... i didnt think they were the same... But S13's and cefiros are the same...
  8. hmm, i've found bilstien shocks/springs to be a bit sloppy, the use for my car i need very stiff suspension. They are alright though, they are good for driving around, they are kinda stiff so they are everyday friendly, but when you want to do more spirited driving or drift, i dont really like them. My friend had his Koni's revalved to Tein HA specifications and thats awesome. But probably too hard for some/most people. Depending on what you really want out of a suspension package, bilstien is good because they are quite friendly on the street and kinda stiff so u can do a bit of track stuff... but if you want to be more adventurous i would be looking for a name brand coilover (tein/hks)
  9. you can fit them... here is the proof... but the car looks very high and i think lowering it would cause some filthy scrubbing. if i were to fit another nissan rim to my r32... it would be R33 GTR wheels for sure.
  10. Nice work man. Thats a tasty figure !

  12. Just because you can afford to buy a gtr, doesnt mean you can afford to own a gtr. If money is sometimes a concern, i would definitely go for a gts-t. A lot of *younger* people i know, are going GTR mad, because they are for sale from importers from as little at $16,000 (pretty rough looking ones), but the maintenance costs on them can be very high.... and they cant afford to fix them when they fcuk up... so they are stuck with a 'cheap' GTR that goes no where, and they cant sell it because they will lose the majority of the cash they have already spent... not a good place to be in. Dont buy a cheap GTR, spend the cash and get a good one if you go down that path - but be prepared for significant maintenance costs. GTST is a safe option... maybe u should start at a GTST then later upgrade to a GTR?? *shrugs*
  13. Mine was a Mazda Cosmo. Best modification i did to it was sell it. I dont know enough about rotaries to warrant owning one.
  14. I have a ball bearing turbo and its perfectly normal to hear it spool down when you shut the engine off.
  15. Hey man, I have also gone through a couple of RB20 boxes. The fact is, you only have to go through 2 Rb20 boxes to equate to the cost of an Rb25 box. If you can afford it, putting the RB25 box in is the go - just make sure you find someone that knows exactly what they have to do. When i was making enquiries about rb25 box in my r32, i found myself having to tell the mechanics what to do rather than them telling me what they had to do... which scared me. Good Luck with it man.
  16. heh, parramatta is fscked.
  17. Thats ****ed man, But what can you do? There isnt much you can do to stop people from stealing sh1t off your car except an alarm... Sorry to hear.
  18. Thats fcuked. Damaging others property is just wrong - you could have just started something very bad because they know where you live, and because they have nothing else to do beside rip up in your street, they may do something stupid. But its also absolutely retarded to do donuts/skids in a residential street, it would be shocking if they hit a kid or something.
  19. i have never seen a thread go so off topic haha.
  20. your stock boost gauge may have a leak in the hose... mine had this problem and didnt read properly (not that i used it) but yeah, fsck the stock gauges, get an aftermarket one that reads over 7psi =)
  21. hmmm i think that sounds 'ok'.... but i am not that experienced in how much an R34 half cut is worth... but to me that sounds alright.
  22. I have a good friend of mine that lives in Japan, he will send me anything i want. So basically there is no mark up on the cost of whatever i buy. He constantly says that because he is from abroad (he is australian) he is treated really well and gets fantastic deals from workshops etc. I dont see how they can be a 'bitch' to fit? My friend had his injectors installed by Amberleys and there was never any fuss... How can they be a bitch to fit? They were Side Feed injectors *shrugs*.
  23. Sorry buddy, thats where you are wrong - and if you race to 2nd gear, you are a retard. It is an art form to launch a high powered manual car properly, any idiot can launch an auto. I am sorry if you are unfamiliar with wheel spin. I never said that cars were written off because of this, I just said its a situation i would not like to be in. If you state that you would rather an automatic transmission for twisty runs/race tracks - you have obviously never experienced a manual.
  24. This is a stupid question. You cannot compare these cars. You need to list what you are looking for in a car, what features/accessories, what power you want, what price range. These cars are totally different, you should also list why you have chosen these cars, what attracts you to these three cars (individually)
  25. AHAHahahaah Amen. I am not a fan of Autos AT ALL... I like to slap 2nd and skate past my automatic rivals. Unless its a worked auto with a stall converter and shift kitted, i dont like it. To me, driving a manual car hard (on a track or twisties driving) i have more control over the car. I can use compression to slow down, i choose when it changes gears and when it doesnt etc etc. I think it could be dangerous if for example, you were doing some hard driving in the mountains, and you put your foot down in an auto and it was unpredictable when it kicked down, if it kicked down too late and you were not expecting it to, the consequences could suck. Also, gives you something to do whilst driving, makes it more interesting !
