iv just found out that my oxy senor in the cat has been cut does it matter

if its the sensor in the cat its the cat temp sensor and its not really needed

not really necessary - all it does is hook up to a light in the dash when the temp exceeds whatever amount. I suppose if anything is wrong, its best to know before you blow something. But it wont really affect anything, otherwise

Phew, my car idles fine. I was told the o2 sensors should be replaced every 50,000k. Is this true?
