Gtr Bov's

Currently my std GTS-t BOV flutters on any more boost than 1 bar.

I would like to know if a GTR BOV will flow more air than the Std GTS-t one and if they are a direct bolt on.

what mods do you have and what sort of power levels are you at to make enough airflow to make the stock bov make fluttering noises?

Note sure if ONE gtr bov will be better, but the pair of them seem to be a good thing

samething my R33 BOV fluttering & change to Mitsubishi VR4 BOV. work great, no leak at 1bar.

Z32 afm

currently running 240rwkw

Was the VR4 BOV a direct bolt on? and how much do they go for$$?

Are there any other factory plumb back alternatives?

When i took my stock one off it had a mitsubishi sign on the peice that connected to the pipe... so im assuming they are pretty much the same item so it should bolt on. Someone correct me if im wrong.

Try out an EVO 8 MR BOV, they're fairly inexpensive (unless you get it from Satan, uhh... I mean Mitsubishi), and apparently can hold near 20 psi, no problems. Even if it required some modification to fit, I would bet a dollar that someone makes an adapter for mitsubishi BOV's to fit skylines. But like Mr Italy! says, it's probably the same flange.

Also, a VR4 BOV is nice (mine holds 18 without too much hassle, will probably swap it out for an EVO one though), and should be really cheap. Call some jap wreckers.

The VR4 BOV is exactly the same as the R33 GTS-t BOV.

As doommachine said, EVO 8 MR BOV is the way to go.

Or if you wanted to go aftermarket.

Greddy type S or the Greddy type R if you're running very high boost.

i was using a single GTR BOV.

no problems, worked a treat. Mild fabrication to fit it i *think*

I've had skyline and vr4.

bov = same... even part number.

the bolting to attach may be slightly different

never seen the evo ones.

might be simpler to just get a gfb plumback ones second hand or something.
