Epa For Exhaust

Hey ppl. I got an EPA letter for my exhaust, its just a bolt on muffler so no problems to change.

But i was told they will check to see if everything under the hood is normal, and i have a pod filter instead of stock air box.

Just wanted to check if the pod filter is okay or not.

is it an oiled 1 or dry element?

if its dry its fine, and if the car is EFI it doesnt need to be boxed up. just has to be secured properly to the car.

also, if you have a front mount + pod then its not ok...can only have 1 intake change

If its only for exhaust thats all they will do. The guy popped my bonnet and saw a POD and a FMIC and didnt do anything.

from what i've heard about epa and exhuast tests is they let you take it to authorised testers, usually exhaust dealers, they are most likely just gonna test for noise and may not even look under your bonnet
