Hey guys,

Pretty much my situation is as follows, every Wednesday starting next week I have TAFE at Box Hill and every Wednesday I have a double science class. Now the problem is that in 2 weeks I should have done 5 science classes but I would only be doing 1 with what’s going on now. So I have 3 options right now and I want to know what you think I should do.

1)I can leave it as it is and do 1 class a fortnight and most likely fail science.

2)1 of the weeks I could try and switch science classes to do 3 classes.

3)And last but not least I could try and switch classes for both weeks and 5 classes

And for anyone who might ask this question, I want to be a auto mechanic and I‘m currently doing Engineering and Manufacturing up till the mid year, then hopefully doing a automotive course. And if it means anything, I'm in yr 10 right now.

Thanks guys to anyone who helps out.

Hmmm...

But if the second train doesn't leave Sydney until 9.00pm Sunday, the first train travelling from Adeladide will already have differentiated the hypotenuse at at least 110km/h.

It's a tough one.

Just remember that almost everything is exothermic and you'll be fine :P

my question to you is what a bunch of hoons in skylines would know about higher education and life choices? :P

I'd go with option 3, from what I understand of the current system (I finished yr 12 in 1998, so I'm not really current with this shit) science is a core subject and failing that isn't gonna be good on your marks, wheras not doing so well in TAFE is acceptable?

But as was said before, yr 10 is really not that critical unless you want to be an early school leaver so stress less.

Damn your and old fart funky. Science a core subject? lol

I didnt do 1 unit of science in VCE.

Thanks for your replies so far guys I'm still trying to work out what’s best at the moment. I have been talking with my parents, school careers advisor and a close mate of mine about what to do, I’m still a bit hazed on what to do, I want to leave school at the end of this year because it shits me up the wall but it is only the start of the year and anything can change.

why not ask someone like your parents or someone at the school/ tafe .... ? why bring it to a car forum ?

Read above, and I haven’t started TAFE yet so I can’t talk to anyone at BHI. Also I posted here because I wanted peoples opinions and advice in what to do because I have a interest in skylines and generally cars and I want to work in the automotive area.

I really don’t give 2 shits about science so I may just leave it as is and see what happens, all I really care for is doing well at TAFE and my Business Management 1-2 units this year.

I thought you HAD to do science in yr10? I didn't know you had a choice in the matter till year 11.

Guess your not that old lol.

Yeah its still like that. I failed Science in year 10. I didnt give a rats ass. Didnt do any science subject in year 11 or 12...

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
