sexiest thing in brighton ive seen!!

Recommended Posts

seen some nice cfm boots in brighton hehehe last tiem drove the old GTR down bay st got some interesting comments form a nice young lady hehe. is that stagea registered? or is he driving it on trade plates. I think he got it in as a race import or eval vehicle?

Just so you know, Success Motor Imports is now taking up about half of the car yard next door. The manager of Success (at least he said he was) owns the Stagea & showed me an article one of the hot car mags did on it a year or 2 ago.

He reckons he's been in legal dispute with the owner of the car yard (the land itself) for years & that's why he's had to move.

Has anyone here ever bought a car from him?

MGA = Melbourne Golf Academy, next to the Capital Golf Club, the one owned by Crown Casino, but is doing really sh*t at the moment.

U trained out there smoothline? U a pro? or state/ozzie level? I'm a member of Woodlands and The National, so i'm a bit of a golf nut too!! :D

Yeah i was vic state, was going to go pro in 2001 but a few things got in the way...

Used to play pennant for huntingdale down in vic. Now im a member at Sanctuary Cove country club, the pines. Its 6700 metres long, love the course!

Played pennant at woodlands once, like the course, got thumped though ;) Love the naional, had a good 70 there a while back, not a fan of the norman course though so much... moonah links is good if u ever want to get wind burn lol. Best course in melb is Kingston Heath.

MGA is owned by LLoyd Williams, I went to the opening with warney and some other sports guys, was good... but there is a story why its not doing well :D

i think now the richest suburb in Melbourne, (yes i think its over taken Toorak

toorak is still melbs most expensive.... brighton/blackrock etc has lifted cos people are willing to pay more cos toorak is still too over priced...

it depends whether you're talking about price per property or price per square metre.

Brighton leads on price per square, but on the whole Toorak still has the most expensive houses.

Mind you Elwood is very close uin terms of price of land.

i meant capital is owned by crown, not MGA :)

what's ur name smoothline? pm if ya want, cos my bro plays pennant for Woodlands, and being a pennant player at Huntingdale u prob know Alistair Presnell? see him down at the national a lot, well when pennant isn't on. Yeah national rocks, old course is the best tho, nothing will beat that course :D

go pro hey? i guess the problem was that u couldn't get a Skyline in the US easy enough hey?? hahahah :P

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
