Selling these rims, need to free up shed space

Tyres good for drift, 2 ok for road use,

Rims are 17x8 front 17x9 rear, with all wheel nuts

Asking $500, with a pair of pretty well had it RE55S Semi Slicks chucked in as well (one needs puncture repair)

Spray 'em black, white, whatever! Would be a great set of track/drift wheels

hi do the rims have any flat spots or bad chunks missing from the edges looks like they have some gutter rash have u got a closeup of the worst damage

what is the offset please I like these sparcos my car had them in 18s but wrong offset I am keen for these if the offset is suitable and the damage is repairable.

Hi,

the two rears have a bit of scraping, mainly from using semi-slicks as they have no rim protector.

Offset is 38 I think, I will have to check.

Do you have GTR or GTSt? Don't think they would be suitable for GTR, I believe you have to keep rim sizes the same front and back other wise you stuff up the workings of the 4WD

Will post up offsets when I find out what they are.

If this gives you any indication, the rears just fit inside the rear guards, same with the fronts

Will post up them up when I find out

Hi Chris Still waiting for the offsets are the wheels still for sale?

will transfer the $$ to your account today if you are selling.

Hey mate,

I had a look on the weekend, couldn't find much on there. From memory there was a sticker saying they where 32 or 38, can't quite remember, but it looks like it has come of when they where on the car

Is there any other way I can measure the offset on them?

^^^Offset is distance from centre of rim to the surface/flange of the rim that bolts onto the hub. (sorry can't explain better)

So the higher (+'ve offset) figure will mean the rim sits more inside the guard, and for lower or -'ve offsets opposite applies.

So a rim width of 8" (200mm), halfway/centre will be 100mm, likewise centre of 9" (225mm) rim will be 112.5mm.

Measure the distance (mm) from outside edge of the wheel towards centre (width wise), ie edge of rim to the surface of the rim that will bolt onto the hub, now subtract this distance from either 100mm (for 8" rim) or from 112.5mm (for 9" rim) and this should give you your offset.

Alternatively, measuring from the "inside" edge of rim to the same surface as above where hub bolts on, then subtract either 100mm (8" rim) or 112.5mm (9" rim) from that distance and it should be the same value as the first method.

Best way I can explain it.

theres an easy way to measure the offset

get a straight edge at least 20'' long [a brickies level is perfect] lay it across the rim at the back and measure the distance to the back of the mounting flange then lay it across the front of the rim and measure the distance to the back of the mounting flange, the difference between the 2 measurements is the offset, you can get a close enough measurement even if the tyres are mounted and the straight edge lays on the tyrepost-23827-1141631231.jpg

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
