Well thers one particular guy at work who constantly calls me a hoon.. And when I showed him a pic of my car hes goes "Shit.. that exhaust would be loud" I'm like... err no.

He kept going on about it (he had the $16000 machine) so I said "For **** sake, pick up taht stupid machine, come with me and we will test it" he goes "ok"

So off we went (undercover carpark I might add so it was resinating off the walls) and he tested it.

Then he goes "Ok.. maybe its not loud" I said "I'll accept your apology shall I?"

Oh.. Hi Paul... (i think his name is :D)

I just got a phone call from one of the places I sent my resume too.. I got a job interview tomorrow :( Hooray.. A diesel supplies place. I should fit in really well :) Wear my stubbies and double pluggers. SHe'll be right mate!

Uhm. I work near the personnel area. They just whinge and bitch about each other all the time. I just sit and listen and laugh.

In my area, I'm the lowest ranking (AO2) I get along really easily with them. They are all AO6 - SO1, so they are all mature and don't bitch. We swear, muck around, joke. It's awesome. I love them but unfortunately I"m only temporary so I *NEED* a permanent job to keep my car.

I don't give a shit about other bills. Just my car :D

Whats a car dealership like?

I don't really want to go into a real estate type area.

I really want to work somewhere with cars. Either a car dealership :D or a mechanics or distributor. Anything to do with cars.

But, because I've only had public service experience where I dont know much of the dealings of a private firm, no one wants to give me a job.

Are you having major reforms in your public service jobs over there like we are here??

i used to do fleet management for the govt! now that was a Sweet job :D love fleet management! but with the merger the position no longer existed and i got shifted to a different one that im not enjoying!

Haha.. I'm only employed till the 30th of June too... Our area isn't included atm. Only personnel and finance. It sucks hey. But for someone in my position (and i suppose yours too) I look at it like for 1) they still have a job. 2) they have more opportunities and 3) its a great way to meet more people and network. I really don't see why people are going home crying everynight and going out on stress leave. Is this the situation over there too??

I just want a job. If they want to leave and get out, I"ll have there job.

Maybe we should start up some type of Female Skyline pimp business :D

Michael, I have a job and 2 and a half years experience to go with it and I still can't get a job. And I work for the government (particularly with all the security requirements).

I said to my boss at the moment at work "****en hell, I've got a job and experience and I still can't get a friggen job"

Most of the time I think it's because I am employed atm and the company can't be bothered going through the whole waiting period for me to leave my current employment and start there.

yours gets scanned erin? hmmm i know we've got systems in place we're allowed the net and email for ltd personal useage but with some of the stuff the IT guys send me - they would be fired if it got scanned!

Yeah people stress here too - hehe one girl gets blood noses - ok not funny for her but its such a wussy thing ot have!

    • Yeah well per the video it took 15s for the stock unit to start up....even if I give it a few seconds discount for starting that is at least 12 sec before you get a reverse camera if you are trying to leave a park.  The android unit is way faster, but 2016 for the stock unit is a long time ago in consumer electronics
    • Yea that’s why I said ima test them with multimeter and see the reads.
    • Only at idle. Isn’t a problem when rev it seems.
    • @Haggerty This seems silly to ask, but are you confident in your ability to tune the Haltech?
    • Next on the to-do list was an oil and filter change. Nothing exciting to add here except the oil filter is in a really stupid place (facing the engine mount/subframe/steering rack). GReddy do a relocation kit which puts it towards the gearbox, I would have preferred towards the front but there's obviously a lot more stuff there. Something I'll have to look at for the next service perhaps. First time using Valvoline oil, although I can't see it being any different to most other brands Nice... The oil filter location... At least the subframe wont rust any time soon I picked up a genuine fuel filter, this is part of the fuel pump assembly inside the fuel tank. Access can be found underneath the rear seat, you'll see this triangular cover Remove the 3x plastic 10mm nuts and lift the cover up, pushing the rubber grommet through The yellow fuel line clips push out in opposite directions, remove these completely. The two moulded fuel lines can now pull upwards to disconnect, along with the wire electrical plug. There's 8x 8mm bolts that secure the black retaining ring. The fuel pump assembly is now ready to lift out. Be mindful of the fuel hose on the side, the hose clamp on mine was catching the hose preventing it from lifting up The fuel pump/filter has an upper and lower section held on by 4 pressure clips. These did take a little bit of force, it sounded like the plastic tabs were going to break but they didn't (don't worry!) The lower section helps mount the fuel pump, there's a circular rubber gasket/grommet/seal thing on the bottom where the sock is. Undo the hose clip on the short fuel hose on the side to disconnect it from the 3 way distribution pipe to be able to lift the upper half away. Don't forget to unplug the fuel pump too! There's a few rubber O rings that will need transferring to the new filter housing, I show these in the video at the bottom of this write up. Reassembly is the reverse Here's a photo of the new filter installed, you'll be able to see where the tabs are more clearing against the yellow OEM plastic Once the assembly is re-installed, I turned the engine over a few times to help build up fuel pressure. I did panic when the car stopped turning over but I could hear the fuel pump making a noise. It eventually started and has been fine since. Found my 'lucky' coin underneath the rear seat too The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLJ65pmQt44&t=6s
