Looking for a replacement for my rb20 turbo which is slightly or a fair bit bigger than the 20 turbo!

Not looking to spend alot as im simply replacing a blown turbo and it will only be a tuned on an safc!

Any info can b directed to [email protected]

Thanks all

Jaz

Ive got a highflow rb20 turbo on my car now. Im going to be looking at pulling it off soon to get something larger.

Its had about 10k kms on it, and it cost $1200 to highflow. It has larger steel wheels, and has been machined out to fit. Ive been told its sort of like a t3/t4 hybrid (but its still a rb20 highflow)

It makes similar power to a hks2530 i think, and has the same response as the std turbo has.

Im looking to sell it for around $950 (ono) so if your interested, let me know and we could work something out.

Pics below show turbo when i fitted it to my new motor. It runs fine, and has no shaft movement.

As i said in my PM Bl4cK32 im happy to take the turbo, just buzz me when its off the car. Anyone with any similar offers that have the turbo off the car is free to PM me aswell as cash can't exchange hands until he takes it off and is ready to send it to me!

Ended up deciding against that dude (after i made the thread hints the title... lol)

Looking for something simlar to the pictures of the hi-flowed unit above.

Thanks for the offer :ermm:

    • Yes, overthinking. Many PS reserviors are completely opaque. Our Skyline ones, for example. Have to remove lid, peak inside, swirl the dipstick, try to remember how to read it, etc etc. Normal. Radiator overflows are often sufficiently opaque and scunged up that you can't see the true level inside anyway, and have to open and have a peak. Besides which, I replaced the (massively expensive, even back then) plastic overflow in my Alfa GTV, back in the '90s with a stainless one that I had a good fabricator make up to be dimensionally same-same, that looks remarkably similar to the Bogan's Moroso one above, and I never suffered any particular paranoia that I didn't know how much coolant was in it.
    • Looks great, but I'm always concerned that it makes it difficult to see what level the fluids are at. Am I overthinking this?
    • Looks fancy But after having a look, prior to its installation, I noticed that the yellow looking power steering reservoir would look crap next to this So I have this incoming..... Much cheaper than the Moroso and has great reviews (yeap, it's a Moroso knock off)
    • Can we place bets? My money is on there is always the option to use the 1 way profile. So the diff is either 2 way and 1 way, or 1.5 way or 1 way.
    • I also used Knox driveshafts when I the slip yoke T56 to the 3bolted TR6060 type. I believe I was one of his first jobs as it literally changed hands when I was there, started by the old owner and finished by the new. Everyone seemed pretty great about it. So wasn't shy/seemed pretty knowledgeable when dealing with weird custom people like me.
