I have another 33 clutch to do tomorrow, an auto in a camry and a timing belt on an astra but I reckon I could squeeze in another one if you like.

Plus I'll be out too if you're out. I can't get a helmet from anywhere. My mate is not contactable so I was hoping that maybe I could borrow yours.

Anyone else willing to lend a helmet?

You're welcome to mine... and you've seen how boofy my head is too :P

Only problem is that you'll have to pick it up from Toowong, as I'm working late tonight and I have the car so Karen can't drop it out :ermm: If that's OK and/or you can't get hold of another one, you're welcome to use mine.

lights in the dashboard area (speedo, rpm, etc) aren't working.

looks as though i wont be going until these are fixed.

All dash lights are out? From memory they're on the same fuse as your taillights, check that, it might be a nice easy fix :P

you dont need dash lights to race at willowbank.

check your fuses and your dimmer, occasionally those things die simply cause compliance mobs use cheap shit.

though if your driving a fair way you may want to follow someone back into town, just in case there are any friendly constabulary patroling.(and most of the time there is at the very least a speed camera just past the Flinders View/Ripley overpass)

Nobody wants to loose double demerits.(or was that just for easter period?)

Timeslips 4 of my best but only 1 is OK really.

Practice OH practice.

Took my car to tuner yesterday and it was running sweet, so its all down to technique now.

By the way Hardcore have changed management now, Pete still has the dyno but it's a seperate business now and is going by the name of

"protorque" performance tuning, I recommend him highly,

some of the old staff are still there but all the salesmen are new and have no record of any previous work, so if you have any of those type of quetions talk to Pete and he may be able to help.0438876649

Nice work terry. I was almost certain I was going to pass you on the line lol. I was going about 30k's faster by that point. Bit disappointed in my result but I'm talking with my turbo supplier and hopefully I can have the smaller A/R housing donated in the name of research....rofl. Should shave a second and a half off my time.

    • Just to be clear, there were no lights or codes when the hiccups were occurring. Also nothing noticeable in the cars' braking. It brakes fine and the dash is clear. I only made the connection when it did throw a code and suddenly, despite the lights, it felt great again.
    • Yeah they are sliders and this was in my head before I worked out it was the speed sensor.
    • Ok so we have a smoking gun.  A few weeks ago I had to replace a speed sensor that I'd fit incorrectly. I replaced the sensor and everything was fine with no lights or codes thrown any longer.  When I was doing some more bedding in yesterday I got ABS and traction control lights again and, considering when this happens those things are disabled, the pedal went back to normal with smooth braking and no hiccups.  The codes thrown are for the same speed sensor that I replaced. When I looked at the sensor I took out it looks like the tip of the sensor is damaged. So whatever happened to it, perhaps it has damaged the magnetic ring on the bearing (that I only replaced the other week). I'll get my boroscope in the hole where the sensor goes and see if there is any damage in there. Hopefully just the tip of the sensor is in there and the bearing is fine. 🤞🏻  It's worth noting also that the pedal hiccup happens more often and for longer periods now and totally goes away when the codes are thrown again which happens usually after 5 or so minutes of driving. Love all your help here as usual guys, thanks!
