Remember Anna what ever he reads on motsons dyno will be the same increase for the rest of us... In terms of a percentage... So if you ran 179 last night and you run 200 today and i ran 198 last night then in theory i would run about a 224rwkw area... Post up what he gets, will be interesting...

I dont want to get it done so I can come back and say see now I go to the top of the class, I just want 2 things

1. A more easily comparable result (Shoot out mode is the best we have) for before and after comparisons

2. A better graph to read...the scale they used for the power curve shows nothing, everyones was a flat line pretty much!!! And once again I want that for before and ater comparisons

So dont worry I wont be comig back claiming I beat anyone!!!

Unfortunately for me on my way home i blew a head gasket. Nothin major, just a slight little leak. So the second i noticed strange smoke out the back i turned the thing off and got it towed. should be back on the road soon :P

btw i was the guy with the piss weak rb20 silvia. haha

Col..1900N-m of torque..that's solid! At how much rpm did u hit max torque?

Any idea wot my final reading on torque was after the conversion? Got some ?? about the printed dyno graph...lol different from wot i usually see.

Anyway cant wait to see all the pics, videos and results from everyone that went on the dyno...

If I knew you guys were racing to 250rwkw I would have run mine.

Col...I thought yours would have more torque than that...after all it is an RB25...mine's only a 20 and I make 620nm. There did seem to be some inconsistancies with that dyno though. Like Dan's 34...should have been making 175 at least. John's...properly tuned or not should still have cracked 220. Not saying it wasn't accurate, just a bit suss on it.

Col, yours should be somewhere in the vacinity of at least 500nm of torque.

Does not matter how the dyno reads... up or down... Impossible to say who dyno is perfectlly accurate...

You missed the point of the night dan...

It was to compair cars side by side on the same dyno... Plus to have a meet and greet... Bit if fun...

I dont care what kw and torque i had on their dyno compaired to others... All i know is that i drive a fat torque monster which will get me in enough trouble one day...

Anyways... I am only using the final figure divided by the diff ratio so it is dependant on thier dyno... But then i always knew i had heaps of torque...

Remember kw mean sweet FA... Its the torque that gets you down the quarter faster...

I need the following

* Outright KW at the wheels

* Outright Torque at the wheels

* Speed at which highest KW was reached

* Speed at which highest torque was reached

As i have not got an email from them as yet and i want to wrap this up... So i can get onto the DVD....

I started it and the laptop crashed and ditched the clips... But i still have them on the camera... So here goes another hour of capturing and abother 20 gig... :D

9krpm...thanx...guess its not too bad, my car was never built fer outright power anyway~haha dude if u were there u would smoke me with yer GTR! Hoping to see yer car on the dyno one day manz...My AFR was mostly on 0.85, dont know wot units this is on actually, but previous dyno i was running AFRs of about 11.7 Yeah catcha up soon yeah....maybe this weekend... :D

Yeah i went just to have a look at first n then decided to put my car on fer a run just to check how it's running...got to speak to a few people and was great getting to know new people, hoping to get to know more of u guys in the future. All in all, think it's something fer people to meet up n just have some fun. :)

    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
    • I wanted to try and preserve the front bumper as long as possible, they're not cheap and are made to order in Japan. Taking inspiration from my previous K11 Micra build where I made an undertray for the Impul bumper, I did the same for this BN Sports bumper but a little slimmed down.  This time round I only made a 'skid plate' (if that's the correct wording/term) for just the bumper surface area, the Micra version covered the gap like an undertray. Starting off with a sheet of mild steel approx. 0.9mm thick 4ft x 2ft in size. I traced around the bumper, cut it out and cleaned the edges. Luckily I was able to get two halves from one piece of metal In the video I installed it as is, but I've since then I've removed it to spray and add a rubber edging trim. The rubber trim is suitable for 1-2mm and it's a really nice tight fit. The bolts had to be loosened due to the plates being too tight against the bumper, the trim wouldn't push on I used some stainless M6 flat headed bolts for a flusher finish (rather than hex heads poking down), I believe this style fastener is used for furniture too incase you struggle to source some. The corner's are a little wider, but this may be an advantage incase I get close to bumping it  The front grill got some attention, finally getting round to repairing it. Upon removal one fixing pulled itself out of the plastic frame, one side is M8 that fixes inside of the frame, where as the other side is M5. Not knowing I could get replacements, I cut down an M8 bolt, threaded it inside the frame along with a decent amount of JB Weld.  The mesh was replaced to match the bumper. One hole on the bonnet/hood had to be drilled out to 8mm to accommodate the new stud, once the glue had set it could be refitted. I think the reason the grill was double meshed was to hide the horn/bonnet latch (which makes sense) but I much prefer it matching the bumper Bumper refitted and it's looking much better IMO The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVZP35io9MA
